I love the autumn (although as I write this I'm in the middle of Storm Amy) and the spring. Both mirrors of the same. The colours and life, nature showing us what it's all about.
It actually has come on soft this year. We're still seeing low 90s. But that also means the bugs have not gone to hell yet! LOL. P.S. Thank you for the birthday wishes! π
Glad to see you are back in the blogsphere. My bugs are going crazy - one last hurrah before winter. I am currently reading The October Country. It is bizarre.
We are having such great cool weather; it was low 50s this morning and I actually put on long sleeves! But, I fear, that Second Summer might be lurking nearby.
Precious friend Debra π₯° It’s lovely to have you here again π₯Ή♥️ I felt the softness and relaxation of your recent break in your soothing post π€ Loved your pics absolutely and enjoyed the messages they shared π♥️ Happy autumn my wonderful friend π₯°
Some beautiful pictures. Stealing for my nature folder. The problem with fall is it precedes winter and so much darkness. Time to dig out the SAD lamp my kids bought me. Since I do not love the darkness, I guess my deeds are not evil.
Yes, fall is the beginning of a long respite from bugs and biting bugs!
ReplyDeleteThe animated leaves are slightly disconcerting but I loved the one about old Douglas.

ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, autumn could bitchslap summer away... but it's more poetic the way you put it.
ReplyDeleteAnd any bugs that haven't returned to Hell that dare venture into my house will reap the Dyson whirlwind!
ReplyDeleteI missed your "return" post, Debra, but good to have you back!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Really missing your posts
ReplyDeleteOh that Douglas! Bad boy!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, to hell with bugs.
ReplyDeleteYes it did. That cat is flippen amazing. Glad you are back and will be able to see again.
ReplyDeleteDebra, I didn't realize you were back. Happy Autumn π ☺️ π
ReplyDeleteYes, the bugs finally leave. Cooling trends have their upside.

ReplyDeleteThere is always that one person, tree, that bucks the system.

ReplyDeleteSome of the bugs have decided to spend the winter in my house.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy autumn days.
ReplyDeleteI love autumn, the animated leaves are pretty cool.

My favorite season! Not too hot, not too cold, no bugs, no guilt for not being busy...
ReplyDeleteNature surely has the best crayons!!
