Tuxedo used to get in my lap and I'd sing a song called "My Ship" to him and he'd fall asleep; he had his own lullaby, though maybe he fell asleep so as not to hear me sing????
Peanut and Biscuit offically gave four paws up on this post. The song on the kalimba makes the perfect nursery song, and the fifteen years of smiles made my heart swell. π
Hi Debra, I recognize the last two from one of my previous blog posts, so glad you enjoyed them and are sharing them here! Thank you so much for the smiles! :)
Aww, this is so sweet. There’s something about dogs and music that just melts you from the inside out. Acoustic Trench on a kalimba is already charming, but with a pup in the mix? Instant heart-melter. Definitely made me smile. www.melodyjacob.com
Dogs (and cats) make life worth living. Lucky keeps intruders away. And animals love music. I've seen videos of a fox that came to listen to a banjo, cats listening to a violin, cows to an accordion, and an elephant to a piano.
The dog is was sitting for the past month was OnTheJob! If there were no people to bark at she would make do with the wind in the trees or the water flowing in the river. A very busy little yapper! Sweet, though...
I've seen videos of animals being serenaded. They often seem to be patiently waiting till the human has finished, humoring him!
ReplyDeleteI want that sign, "Please don't empty your dog here" for my yard.
ReplyDeleteThat video is a tear jerker!
ReplyDeleteYou claim I am barking at nothing...yet...
ReplyDeleteWe have not had a single intruder!
Dog Exhaust.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant chew toy. Play music for our cats and they leave the room in disgust. Plebeians!
ReplyDeleteBARKEASY!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, every dog owner needs that toy stat.
XOXO

ReplyDeleteI love this post! LeeAnna
ReplyDeleteLove these. But the Blame it on the dog is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteLove these. My dogs make my life better, except when they walk in their own poop and track it indoors:)
ReplyDeleteπΆπΆ OMG! I am a sucker for a well-groomed doggo sporting aviators!! ππ₯°
ReplyDeleteLove a dog in glasses too! But I am really a cat person! I'm loving those cat videos working at the Starbucks even if they are AI!
ReplyDeleteOh, I so want a bi-lingual tiger! I wonder if they come in cub size.
ReplyDelete...Debra, once again you found great stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat as Always! ππ¦Ί
ReplyDeleteLUV the dog stick library, though it's probably more like "take a stick, leave a stick", LOL! Thanks for throwing us dog lovers a bone today!
ReplyDeleteAlways try and make it look like the dog did it for sure and love the doggy stick library. How cute is that!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat dog wouldn't want to take a stick from a library? But based on what I know about dogs they would have a problem bringing one back.
ReplyDeleteHuman best friends

@ Linda's Relaxing Lair -- Yes, I only steal from the best! Thank you!
DeleteAwww...you are so sweet, dear friend. ❤️
DeleteI really like this post. The dogs are too cute.
ReplyDeleteDogstick library, lol. Reminds me of a dog I know whose "sticks" are essentially trees, ha.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great! I think the dog stick library is my favorite, lol. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteLove that song on the whatever you called it, it started with a "K", that's all I remember. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone stay angry with a dog, or any animal really, around you.
ReplyDeleteThey’re a blessing we humans do not deserve
That Kambila was amazing. I didn't know it could sound so good.
ReplyDeleteDog stick library perfect! Except every dog I've walked has eaten his stick!
ReplyDeleteI saw a post recently about a big dog that had been shaved to look like a lion. The police started getting reports of a lion on the loose.

These are great. Funny enough my first dogs name when I was a kid was, Poochie.

ReplyDeleteI feel like the first photo every Friday!!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful new week Debra!!
I've done the math, and that dog's talking sense.
ReplyDeleteWhen my wife practices piano, guitar, or mandolin, the dogs come into the room, claim a comfy spot, and go to sleep. It's really sweet to see.
ReplyDeleteDid y'all see the video of the 40-yr old, nearly blind bear that got serenaded? He seemed to really like it.
@ BSB -- No, I haven't seen that video but it sounds delightful. I'll have to look for it!
Deleteit's a dog's life indeed.
ReplyDeleteDog Stick Library! πππ❤️

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your picks thoroughly dear Debra, funny and sweet at the same time ☺️
ReplyDeleteThe video is heartwarming π₯Ή♥️
The dog getting serenaded doesn't look to impressed but I was.
