All of those are pretty good. Some more accurate than others. I have photos which I use to prove to myself that I was once young and kind of cute. For guys, it’s the nose hairs and ear hairs that are a nuisance. Have a good morning and not too many aches or pains. (It’s gotten to the point where my aches have pains!)
🤣 Great points, Frank! I made my Hubby write his wedding vows to include "No visible nose hairs, ear hairs, and absolutely no MSE!!"* * Mad Scientist Eyebrows 🤬
🤣 Fran Lebowitz has been my sarcasm (reality) guru for decades!* I haven't known you as long, Debra, but you definitely are on my sarcasm style crew! 🥰 * My first sarcasm guru was the cartoon character Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent on the "Beany & Cecil" show. Think earlier "Ren & Stimpy" style. In fact, the creator of Ren and pals, John Kricfalusi (Canadian! 💪), credited the Beany and pals creator, Bob Clampett, as his main influence!! ♥️
Yes, on the age you just completed. My late mom used to say this to me all the time and it was always very funny the chats about it. Can I just be this age for one day? Okay, she said, for one day but tomorrow you're the next age.
Funny choices. My mother would often say, "I don't recommend growing old Neil." P.S. Neil is my real name in case you thought that I was genuinely called Yorkshire Pudding!
I must agree all above is truth ☹️

Delete* Mad Scientist Eyebrows 🤬
...Debra, these are FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteThe second meme would be true, if one could get a doctor.
ReplyDeleteThe corn maze suits some of us at any age. No sense of direction. I bet I could get lost in there.
ReplyDeleteALL OF THESE!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I forget what I went to the kitchen for all of the time...even when I am in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteOh god. It's all so true. So very, very true.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so funny, and unfortunately so true!

There was a backup going into the parking garage at the Farmer's Market this morning, and I almost gave up and came home.
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm cracking up. These are so funny and so true on some of them
ReplyDeleteAhh these are great. I can relate especially to the goat hairs on the chin. Those little suckers are sneaking growth hormone or something.
ReplyDeleteThat second-to-last hurt!
ReplyDeleteYup!
ReplyDeleteThis had me laughing all the way through. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThese all hit too close to home!
ReplyDeleteIs this what I have to look forward too???? Peter Pan doesn't like this.
ReplyDeleteThe parking one, hahahha make sense tho
ReplyDeleteDear Debra, these are hilarious, and so true! LOL!!!

ReplyDeleteCracked me up, she did.
Alas, it's not just my cereal that goes snap, crackle and pop in the mornings, LOL!
ReplyDeleteAgeing is a privilege that one gets to experience all phases of life
ReplyDeleteWe all age, or least some of do.
ReplyDeleteI'm hitching a ride with Oscar.
ReplyDeleteWith gratitude in our hearts, we embrace every moment, trusting that a long, vibrant, and healthy life is still unfolding ahead of us.
ReplyDeleteFunny choices. My mother would often say, "I don't recommend growing old Neil."

The travel and glowstick are SO spot on. Betty Davis said, " Old age is no place for sissies." I concur.
ReplyDeleteThat corn maze is likely still overpriced, ha.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? absolutely! Oh those chin hairs.
ReplyDeleteThese were all funny! Especially the glow stick, the chin hairs and the parking... Thank, D!
ReplyDeleteThese are great. Had me nodding and laughing all the way through.
ReplyDeleteAnnoyingly so many are accurate.
ReplyDeleteThese all resonate with me, Debra! 😂 I've had too many friends die young, so I'm very grateful for this crispy time of life!
