The words of Pope Leo XIV have been debunked and proven fake by fact checkers and other sources. These memes, however worthy they may be, will be AI generated and will need extra scrutiny before publication. Putting that aside, those words certainly ring true.
🤗 Ooh, I love Neil deGrasse Tyson. And, anyone who starts reading that statement on Dec. 25 and assumes it will end with Jesus...don't know much about history! 12/25 was the birthdate assigned to him by those who wanted to distract us pagans from our much older celebrations of the natural world! So, in a very real sense, Jesus was the world's first instance of "SQUIRREL!" 🤣🐿
To properly answer your question, I would suggest checking out Wikipedia's take on Jesus, as from what I've read, there's over a dozen different entries on who/what Jesus is in today's world.
@ G.B. Miller -- Yes, like any myth/ideology, there are lots of variations. The central issue is which variations serve good (love), and which serve evil (hate). MAGA Jesus serves evil and hate.
Back in the 60's they didn't call it woke but I was rather shocked by my church's reaction to kids my age deciding they really didn't want to go halfway around the world to kill people. I'll just celebrate Sir Isaac Newton's birth thank you very much.

ReplyDelete@ Milleson -- Well, if he didn't say it that explicitly, he SHOULD have!
