First Snow

We're receiving our first snow of the winter in Edmonton today. And predictably, there are fender benders galore. Why can people never seem to remember from one year to the next how to drive in winter conditions? It's like no one has ever experienced snow before or something! Must be collective amnesia. Or collective denial perhaps. Anyway, in honour of the first snow, here's a video:

And please stay tuned! Tomorrow I'll be passing on the Kreative Blogger award to 7 other bloggers.

  1. How lucky you are! We've hardly had anything here in the city for the past few years. Only enough to make walking and driving icy and treacherous. I'm in the mood for a nice, old-fashioned blizzard.

  2. You should see LA when it rains...I just don't get it. Most people aren't even from here so I'm sure they've experienced different weather...LOL!

  5. Yowza, Sarita, those streets must have been solid ice! I kept expecting to hear people yelling "Hurry hard! Hurry hard!" at the cars like it was a curling rink!
