I received another email from Her Royal Highness *LIVE* from the 2012 Cat Olympics in London:
Hello, human! The swimming and diving events were held today. Of course, these sports have been modified to more accurately reflect our feline sensibilities --
That's right -- no swimming pools for us! As you know, all cats have post traumatic stress disorder from past horrible experiences of *shudder* bafftime.
So far Olympic Glory has eluded me, alas, but I'll keep on trying my best!
Luv, hugz and purrz from your cat, HRH.
That gold medal should be within their paws' grasp as we speak.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for news about upcoming events.
thanks tons and tons for you input with my struggle with Athena xxoo

ReplyDeletethis really should be a regular category at the Olympics!
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet watched the Olympics. If cat swimming was an event, maybe that might change.
ReplyDeleteHa! These are brilliant, Gold Medals to all of them!

ReplyDeleteAnd hey, I want to say from your last post. Did anyone else love the Queen's dress and the way that she did her hair? Just wondering, I haven't heard anyone say...
Sadly, I haven't been able to be around very much, and I miss your posts! So much so, that while watching bits and pieces of the opening ceremony, the thought popped into my head out of no where! "I'll bet that Deb's HRH is there in the stands somewhere. .or else hanging out in the palace, thinking that mingling with the common folk is too much beneath her status. :-) I KNEW that she couldn't pass up going to London!
ReplyDeleteDebra, this is absolutely adorable. The olympic diver kitteh seems to be going for the gold!
