Wake Up, Sleepyheads!

Monday is perfect for posting this tribute to coffee because that's when we're all sleepy, tired from the weekend or just plain old hungover (and no, there's no particular reason why I'm thinking now of you party-hearty guys Barfly, Bryan, Brandon and Workingdan . . . ).

So pour yourself a big cuppa Joe, everyone, gulp it down and then go out there and have a good day, dammit!

  9. I sure do need my coffee in the morning. Matter of fact, my pot is set to have my coffee waiting for me. On the rare days I forget to turn it on, I probably wake up the whole building.

  19. I am in desperate need of coffee! I partied hard and even played volleyball. My body is not as young as it once was!

My legs hurt so freaking bad I can barely walk!

I've been called a pot-head before but never did it have anything to do with coffee!

Thanks for the shout out! If I can be known for one thing, it was bound to be drinking and partying!

  30. good going, deb!

...i finally replaced the god-awful maxwell house with more tolerable melitta... max was all they had at the corner store, some weeks back [shudder]... grocer is some five miles to walk, one way - try it in heat/high humidity... since my car's still not on the road... eventually got a ride from brother-in-law, and first thing i picked up from grocery shelf: reasonably good coffee... so ok, it ain't kona or blue mountain, but hey, who sez life's easy? :P

  33. This link is the perfect compliment to this post. Not only does it feature one of my favorite Grimm cartoons about coffee, but contains a link to a classic Dave Grohl video about his addiction to coffee.

    Hope you like.
