Now HERE'S a fun song and video! A paean to the pussy, a missive to the muff, a valentine to the vajayjay . . . Amanda Palmer (formerly of the punk cabaret duo The Dresden Dolls) is a true artiste, creative and absolutely fearless. I hope you will love this song and video as much as I do! Enjoy!
An American performer, Amanda Palmer recorded this song as part of her Australian tour album --
Finally, an interesting factoid for you fans of author Neil Gaiman -- Amanda Palmer is his wife.

ReplyDeletethis is the first time I hear about the Down Under lady :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter turned me onto the Dresden Dolls years ago. She's a cutie!

Now this is definitely something you don't see everyday!
ReplyDeleteWell, that made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI admire Amanda Palmer's music and moral fiber as much as I'm enchanted by her husband's writing. I smile when I see them together. What an amazing couple. And I LUVS the angles in this video ;-)
ReplyDeleteHad no idea that Amanda Palmer was Neil Gaiman's wife! Palmer's bold music reminds me of Annie Lennox. Fun video. :0)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Great video!
ReplyDeleteGreat video! And I love that green nail polish :o)
ReplyDeleteTasmania? That's where that furry devil thingy is, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThere are videos and there are videos. This is a by-god video. Thanks for introducing her.
Funny you should post this - I saw her on a TV show the other night (Rockwiz) where she sung a part of this song - it was the first time I'd heard of it (or her) :)
ReplyDeleteHi Debra......Haven't heard Amanda yet, that for introducing her to us.

I always thought that was what made Australian men so appealing...they go down under..
ReplyDeleteI can't watch videos on computer it crashes..feckity.
She used to stand in Harvard Square dressed up in a wedding dress and mask (I think?) on a platform-thing, completely motionless, as some kind of performance art. I can't say I 'got' it. In fact I'd say I was kind of really underwhelmed and unimpressed, and it's not like I don't know from art what with the RISD degree and stuff.
ReplyDeleteSo I've never really bothered to pay much attention to her or the Dresden Dolls. Also there's some friends of friends of friends stuff in there and I'm just not impressed.
I didn't know she was married to Neil Gaiman, though.
