Gimme My Crying Towel

Oh, the thrill of victory . . .

. . . and the agony of defeat.

Final score -- Toronto Argonauts 35, Calgary Stampeders 22.

What can I say, except -- Next year! NEXT YEAR!! The West shall rise again.

  3. I'm with ya....I almost came down to the studio last night mid-game to post to your blog!
Thought for SURE Calgary would win but after the first few minutes, it was like I was watching a totally different team than earlier in the year.
Ah well, no one does football like the CFL, and other than having to listen to Justin Beiber, it was an exceptional production.....

    Next year....

  8. I blame Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen for ruining half time. If I had to listen to them, my performance would suffer as well.

  18. I have to say I am not a big sports fan... maybe every 4 years for the world cup, because I like soccer, but that's about it... in any case, there is always a craziness that goes with sports, a heart beating a bit faster than usual ;-)

  19. Oh, Debra...here's a tissue to wipe up the tears, and a shoulder to cry on.... Lucky for you, I'm not a sports fan, or else I'd be gloating about how great the east is :)

  20. Yeh ;o) Sorry Debra! The last time we won was in 2004, for Calgary it was 2008, so we needed the cup ;o) I saw Francie's comment about Toronto's mayor. Sorry, I disagree. I think he was a good person. Oh well, we will see what happens to Toronto now. Take Care ;o)

  23. The West shall rise again??? We already got Stevie Harper what else do you want? Mind you if you sold those Stampeders to the Communist Chinese they would win or get shot, now that is a winning combination.

  28. Hey Debra.

Just wanted stop by and apologize, as I had a severe brain cramp and accidently deleted your wonderful comment on my blog post today.

I managed to answer it, because I had thoroughly enjoyed everyone's answer I managed to memorize the basic outline of everyone's comment while I was reading
