Yes, Hugh Jackman is Australian but the character of Wolverine is Canadian, born in Alberta when it was still part of the Northwest Territories. He's older than he looks.
My favorite line from the origins movie was when the general guy was trying to get him to join his cause saying his country needed him, and then get the response "I'm Canadian".
it seems that Wolverine Rocks lol though i have never seen a Wolverine movie and I am 50/50 about Hugh Jackman. Something about him. Are you watching the commonwealth games there ?
I think Hugh Jackman should dress up as Wolverine all the time, might make his life difficult but hey, that would be HIS problem! HA! Also, guess what, Hugh Jackman came into the school church when they were filming Prisoners here in Conyers. I have a friend who works at the little preschool class and she told me he was wonderful! He posed for photos with all the gals and was just a charming fellow. Not one other actor even waved them to them...so, I will always love him for being friendly to my friend, Crystal!
Uh, I meant to say it was a school at a church that is where they allowed the movie people to set up their trailers, and that church is very close to the entrance to my neigborhood! Hugh Jackman was driving past my street every day when he was filming here and I never saw him once!
Canada is great - but I love Newfoundland.
