So, what's on the menu?
Many of the images on this post were swiped directly from Calvin's Canadian Cave of Cool. Actually, I've been busy stealing images from him for use in several of my Halloween posts. So, many thanks, Cal! I owe you a tip of my kitty cat hat. In fact, I think I stole that image from you too, LOL!
Some good looking finger food there, and a lot of imagination.
ReplyDeleteI am so making the last hot dogs! So easy!!!
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS! my local bakery makes cuppycakes like the ones pictured here.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, looks so real.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad they just came out with a study linking hot dogs to increased risk of cancer, otherwise the finger one would be cool. But instead, it leads to the scariest thing of all.
ReplyDeleteWell that takes finger food to a whole new level, lol.
ReplyDeleteThese make me happy. I award you, two turtle turds and your very own bucket of wiggly worms.
ReplyDeleteI love these. Wishing my grands lived closer. I'd have so much fun.
ReplyDeleteMary
Good morning! I'm exhausted just thinking about pulling that treat feast together! But! the hotdogs are possible! And sauerkraut for the maggot effect! I must do that! Thks! xo
ReplyDeleteewww them fingers hotdogs look nasty but I do love me the muffins!
ReplyDeletepeople are too creative sometimes
ReplyDeleteI believe I have all the ingredients necessary to make that finger in a bun for tonight's evening meal. Provided I haven't thrown out the wieners after yesterday's processed meats linked to cancer scare all over the news. Ha. Hahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteI'm making chocolate whoopie pies and maple bacon whoopie pies...no decorations.
ReplyDeleteI've done a lot of these concoctions for the grands and for my daughter when she was small, but I have to do the donuts with vampire teeth. These are so fun. xoxo Happy Hallowoonie
ReplyDeletei love the finger hot dogs!
ReplyDeleteCrreeeeepy good ideas.
ReplyDeleteLove the hot dogs...both of them..There are some really clever ides there..cute oreo spiders too...
ReplyDeleteThose are all great, and definitely the yummiest looking dentures I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI think I could be friends with the person who made those finger hot dogs in that last picture. Kids would walk over their grandmothers to get to those fingerfurters.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I made brain mold Jello and mummy hot dogs for a kid's party. And I made the apple thingies up there for preschool once. I don't often make funny food but when I do it's got to be scary.
ReplyDeleteThese are great ideas. Easy too!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I like looking at cute Halloween treats. I also agree. I ain't got time for that!!
ReplyDeleteI have a "thing" about weiners. I can't eat them. I think that's where old phone books go to die. And now they are made into fingers?!?! My life will never be the same....
ReplyDeleteI too love the creative side of Halloween food.
ReplyDeleteNicole/Beadwright
The witch cupcakes are too cool. Gonna have to try that for the pumpkin carving party.
ReplyDeleteI may never look at hot dogs the same way again...gross!
ReplyDeleteI love freaky food, although I am too lazy to make any. I also blogged about Halloween themed cupcakes tonight: http://vraiefiction.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/les-yeux-sans-visage.html
ReplyDeleteThis all looks great, the fingers and the Dracula teeth are so funny, and it all looks tasty too :-).
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I had a flash back to a section of Is Martha Stewart Living where she catered a bris. The centre piece was made up of antique razors and amongst the hors d'oeuvres there was a dish of cocktail wieners in tomato sauce.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, the oranges and bananas looked easy enough to do. I used to make Halloween cookie and cupcakes but no one here needs all that sugar so I don't make anything. Now we just eat the left over Halloween candy.
ReplyDeleteI suspect I shall be helping the Little Princess make something similar to the pudding and the cupcakes. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm starving...
These are great! And so much fun. I'd love to have a Halloween party just to serve stuff like this. But...that won't happen any time soon 'cause "ain't nobody got time for that" :)
ReplyDeleteHand over the whole platter of ghost cupcakes and nobody here gets hurt!!!!
ReplyDeletehot dogs look sick (like they should)
ReplyDeleteThe strawberries in a slice of apple would be my pick from this list. I'm wondering what the teeth are.
Hi Bill -- I think the teeth are shelled sunflower seeds.
ReplyDeleteCHECK out my menu tomorrow on the really real housewives blog! I used some there and have some really fun ones I found, too!!
ReplyDeleteI am diabetic. So i can only watch the sweets in contemplation :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a lover of all things Cal too.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous. I wouldn't eat that finger food, not even with a fork and knife. Eww.
So cute! I'll have to remember some of these ideas for the future.
ReplyDeleteThe wiener ones are JUST TOO GROSS!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Debra!
ReplyDeleteHow's it goin', eh?
Some of those wieners look kinda phallic.
Happy "Howloween" as the doggy barks!
Gary
These are brilliant.
ReplyDeletebut do they taste good?
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard
Seeing all this awesome Halloween food makes me want to throw a Halloween party! :o)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen finger wieners. Although I find them revolting, their very "revoltingness"makes me want to serve these up, the next time I hear; "chicken again; can't we have something else?'
ReplyDeleteI love these!!!! That cat is too cute!!!
ReplyDeleteOne guy posted making "Jello Worms" (straws bundled in a glass)....
ReplyDeleteHave a great Halloween Weekend dear Lady Debra....
