EDITORIAL COMMENT by HRH:
Don't believe a word of that bushwa from Debra She Who Seeks -- the woman was in fact nagging me. Nag, nag, nag, that's all she ever did.
"Don't claw the furniture!"
"Quit hounding me for food!"
"Stop barfing up hairballs on the carpet!"
"No pooping outside your litter box!"
Believe me, the following course of action crossed my mind more than once --
Only my super-feline powers of patience and self-control kept her alive. She still doesn't realize how close she came . . . .
"oh STHU!" - that's what you REALLY meant to say, right HRH?
ReplyDeleteyou are a pretty girl, HRH.
I think HRH is judging your choice in slippers and you are trying to tell how comfortable they are. ;)
ReplyDeleteClassic HRH, always having to have the last meow, I mean word. :)
ReplyDeleteAlways good to see her making an appearance!
Have a beachy week!
Elsie
Bister, wants HEH to know being a dog is no different
ReplyDeletehaha...cute! i have a bunch of those same slippers! one pair has become a winnie toy!
ReplyDeleteLol. Always with the last word!
ReplyDeleteCassie says HRH was lucky ... Cassie has a mummy who kisses her on the nose. .... ACK! Human Mother Kiss!!!!!!!!!!! Ptui .........
ReplyDeleteAwwe - kitty!
ReplyDeleteI tend to fall on the side of HRH .... mostly because I'm surrounded by three cats as I write this ........
ReplyDeletelol,,, sounds like you got off lucky!!!
ReplyDeleteAAAhahaahaaa!! Sounds like you need another cat to keep you sane.
ReplyDeleteBlack and whites do no wrong. I had superior b&w, marked similarly to yours, but with the teeniest hitler mustache under her nose. My current b&w, himself, has a "Got Milk?" mustache.
ReplyDeleteYour lips are moving but I can't hear a thing!
ReplyDeleteUs Kitties must endure such indignities from our human servants! **le sigh** It's a wonder the human race has lasted this long. About the only useful thing about them is their thumbs. Now if we can only teach those polydactyl cats how to use their thumbs....
ReplyDeleteMy mommy said you need to get another kitty now that you are home so much.
Purz.....Gomez
Sounds like a dysfunctional relationship there.
ReplyDeleteYou can easily guess what a dog is thinking, cats are a bigger mystery since hate, love, excited, sad, etc are about the same expression
ReplyDeleteBushwa! I love that old fashioned word. It's a throw away punchline in some movie or another, probably something from the Coen Brothers, and now I'm going to have to spend the rest of the day trying to remember which one.
ReplyDeletetold!
ReplyDeleteI am positive that is all my cats hear as well....
ReplyDeleteNice slippers!
Anyone who owns a cat should wake up grateful every single day. Wicked beasts. But they purr so all is forgiven.
ReplyDeletewas she ever confused by your furry slippers? :)
ReplyDeleteMine cats sometimes really notice when I buy new slippers for my backyard :)
.
ReplyDeleteKissy face. Love that.
When we ask Bug for a kiss, she does it too.
Happy Thursday!
And that's why we haven't had cats in ages. I love our dogs, they just respond with "okay, okay, yup, okay!"
ReplyDeleteHAHA...the classic kissy face for our furry felines :) They probably think we're morons when we do that :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had your hands full!
ReplyDeleteHRH looks quite a lot like Domino on this picture.
ReplyDeleteYour cat keeps plotting but fails to take action. Sometimes it's easier to plan and devise methods of revenge than to act on them. Your cat should collect these plots and publish a novel.
ReplyDeletePlease tell HRH to say hail and welcome to my Beta cat.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness... that is just hilarious. Sometimes I used to wish my Muffin could have a speech bubble so that I'd know what she was thinking. But thinking about it, it's probably better not to know ;D
ReplyDeleteGreat owl photo too. Have a fabulous weekend.
Ha ha ha, I love the kissy face! :) And your slippers! :)
ReplyDeleteCute slippers..I heard on TV this AM that within 10 years they will have a device that enables us to know what our dogs are saying..I don't think I want to know more than I already do...Cats may be a little more difficult...Cute post
ReplyDeleteWhatever you say, HRH. I am certain you are correct!!
ReplyDeleteI do miss having a cat to talk to. I try to talk to Sophie but it's just not the same.
Cute post ...I can pretty well read what a dog is thinking but cats are a whole different story. I'm about half scared of em.....:)
ReplyDeleteHRH, we all know how deep your patience runs. We shan't believe Debra's fibs. You are an angel. Yes, you are.
ReplyDeleteOh no, a nagging human. HRH, you keep that human of yours in her place.
ReplyDeletePenny's human dad,
Gary
We are difficult to train animals, fortunately cats have loads of patience.
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard
Sweet HRH, no filter! lol
ReplyDeleteAwwww, so cute! HRH, I think you want a treat! LOL!
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear from HRH! She has an unforgettable voice!
ReplyDeleteHRH: I believed every word you said until I hit "super-feline powers of patience and self-control..."
ReplyDelete@HRH that is just talk and no action; you're a pussy!

ReplyDeleteI thought you might like these.
LOL! I often feel that way about my 11 year old. It will get better, I keep telling myself. Truth, he is much better than he was a couple years ago, but I swear the kid is worse than my two year old at times. *sigh* Who needs pets when you deal with that, eh?
ReplyDeleteDebra is one lucky...cat servant.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure our animals must think we're nuts. I wonder what they think of us!
ReplyDeleteYes - that's what they hear - blah blah blah... :)
ReplyDeleteAttitude hua!
ReplyDeleteshe is so pretty and adorable!
