The Wheel has turned once more and Harvest Time has arrived.
Bring out your warmest scarf!
And your striped stockings too.
Who's that coming up the lane in the moonlight?
And when did those unusual kids move into the neighbourhood?
Is that someone knocking at your door?
Best to lay low and stay safe, my friends.
I love blackberries. the nights down here have mos def gotten cooler.

ReplyDeleteI might leave the stocking up with sweets for later, just in case! Sharing the apartment with bags of chocolate might be too tempting ...
ReplyDeleteLooks like whipped cream harvest up there. Count me in.

ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season, eave if I have to be ... just aware. I liked the image of the blackberries in their various stages of development, and is that a carefully roasted marshmallow in the middle of the wheel? Anyway, I finally saw some English hedgerows up close on a hike near the Seven Sisters; they were jam-packed with blackberries. I plan to post some photos as some point. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteBeware! Great times ahead with the beginning of the holidays - enjoy every minute.
ReplyDeleteHappy countdown to Halloween!
