Right here is where
Her Royal Highness the Cat stepped in and forcefully reminded me that we
ALL need to be
tolerant at this time of year especially . . .
. . . because of course, HRH is
herself such a
great example of that!
*GASP!* That little
cat brat just flipped me the
middle paw! Oh,
very nice at Christmas, I must say.
This seems to be HRH's
true stance on tolerance --
RIGHT ON, HRH!
ReplyDeleteHRH and Buster should get together.
ReplyDeleteInstead of worrying about WHAT to say, howsabout a little kindness for a change.
ReplyDeleteI'll take that over Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas or whatever,
HRH needs to be controlled, really....
ReplyDeletehahaha...this really made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI flippen love this post!!!!! Happy Yule my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove this post. Tis that time of the year. Happy Yule.
ReplyDeleteI love the cat memes! Happy Yule!
ReplyDeleteHappy Flippin' everything to everyone, everywhere. xoxo Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteThanks for huge smile this morning!!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful ~
Since Christianity involves the personification of a deity (Jesus), you can make the argument that it's a pagan religion to begin with, but I best not go down that rabbit hole.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding memes today, Debra! Some true lols in there. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings of the Light to you and yours.
E
Happy Yule- seasons greetings- happy holidays- Happy Hanukkah- Merry Christmas- happy Kwanzaa
ReplyDeleteI've said it before, and I will say it again. We don't have any prescribed holidays of our own. Therefore we must steal them from other religions. Can we help it is we are so good at it?
ReplyDeleteI wish people a happy yule or merry yule.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Ho Ho Ho... I mean Hee Hee Hee. You make me so happy. Besides, there's only so much I will tolerate!
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a Yule than a Christmas, hope your Yuletide is everything you want it to be. (oh and meme 3 is mistaken about the fat guy, I believe he was Turkish)
ReplyDeleteThe best thing is when a santa is Christian or atheist.
ReplyDeleteThis week is Wet Cat Wednesday and I had both of those cat memes already set to go with the rest. *sigh* Now I have to change them out.
ReplyDeleteTouché!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou find the best selections for us.
ReplyDeleteI knew Santa's an obese trespasser, but German? Ya learn somethin' new every day - often it's at your blog.
Thanks, Deb.
Be well and festive.
The one with the black cat... Hilarious. That is what I fear with one naughty cat and one naughty boy, who can both be quite rough. Oh but Santa Claus is not German: he is Greek in origins (try to give him baklava and ouzo instead of milk and biscuits) and his modern appearance was inspired by Dutch merchants.
ReplyDeleteI am all for celebrating Christmas the way Pagans did, keep the Yule in Yuletide I say. I wish people Good Yule and if someone tells me I shouldn't celebrate Christmas because I'm atheist and it's a Christian celebration, I say "ta Yule".
Ah, yes, tolerance...
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHA! This has to be your best post yet. I can't stop laughing! I just shared the '3 drinks later' image with my metaphysical group on our Facebook page. They will get a real kick out of it!
ReplyDeleteWinter solstice is coming anyway. (Sips wine.) Call it wherever you want.but if you are broke in January, the commercial holiday won.
ReplyDeleteA great unexpected chuckle for my unexpected grumpy Christmas. Gracias!
ReplyDeletePlant it right next year ... lololololol
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the coexist bumper sticker on people's cars. I just saw a new one yesterday that read tolerance with the symbols. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteA timely reminder not to mess with The Highness. All the holiday "my way or the highway" nonsense drives me crazy.
ReplyDeleteDid HRH select those posts? Good ones. It will be over before we know it. I hope!
ReplyDeleteThree cheers for coexisting!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the coexist, if only!!!
ReplyDeleteRepublicans snowflakes melt with Happy Holidays
ReplyDeleteStuff a turkey I say!
ReplyDeleteJP
HRH always has just the right sentiment - happy holidays to you my dear!
ReplyDeleteHilarious!! I hope the cat gets to take down Santa'a village. I also liked the "after 3 drinks." This was mu holiday treat for the day!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen you were young did you ever joke with your friends about not becoming one of those older women who talks about cats a lot? You have arrived! :)
ReplyDeleteFunny memes as usual Debra!
Great fun dear Debra!
ReplyDeleteContemplating upon the last one ironically
You always make my day! Thank you! LOL! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI would make sure to have Claratin on hand should I find myself in the presence of HRH to give her all the scritches/ pats she deserves, if such be her will.
ReplyDeleteI had a plumber visit the house and give me attitude on his way out for saying Happy Holidays. This pagan lady however is married to an observant Jewish man, and boy did I pull out the stops decorating for Haunukkah that year so that when the plumber returned I could relish the look on his face.
Happy Yule
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard
Saint Nicholas, the model for Santa Claus, was Turkish.
