HRH's Pride Post

Hello, my beloved fans and minions!

It is I, Her Royal Highness the Cat,
here again with my annual Pride post!

Or should that be . . .

It's time once more to celebrate all things LGBTQ+

I bring you Official Pride Greetings
from the Animal Kingdom in all its diversity!

Homosexual behaviour is, of course,
rampant in the Animal Kingdom as well!

And here's a new species too!

Speaking of gender, I'd like to pay tribute
to our dear Grumpy Cat who recently
crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

People always misgendered Tardar Sauce as a male
but she was in fact a female kitty.

She was the Queen of Snark
and we will miss her terribly.

Farewell, Grumpy Cat!

And you know, fictional animals can be pretty kinky too!

(Yes, I know that Elmo is technically
a monster muppet, not an animal
but FU, don't quibble.)

I hope everyone agrees that
the Cat in the Hat is a cat, okay?

And, in the spirit of Pride,
I'm even including
a . . . a . . . DOG in this post.

I hope you're happy.

What are you complaining about?
You're getting tongue!

Sheesh, you people.

The Kenyan official is full shit, of course. Gay colonialism my ass.
And grumpy cat always has a special place in my heart.

  4. Yeah everyone thought Grumpy Cat was a boy. Is that because people assumed boys are grumpier than girls? :D Just for the record I don't believe gay marriage would make Jesus cry. People killing one another makes Jesus cry.

  9. Funny! Personally, I never thought that Grumpy Cat was a boy. She had a classic case of rqf (resting queen face).

  16. Well done, YRH! These were perfectly perfect and made me lol for realz!
Bonus for including a dog - you're remarkably egalitarian when you choose to be.

  17. @ e -- "Remarkably egalitarian when you choose to be" -- And WHAT exactly do you mean by THAT, you impertinent human, you?

  33. June is also Adopt-A-Cat Month (I already have my quota).

  34. Brava, HRH! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to Kenya where apparently you can make lions watch you having sex!

    ReplyDelete
  35. @ Eric -- May the Goddess Bast bless you for this reminder! Now get out there, everyone, and adopt a cat today!

    ReplyDelete
  36. @HRH

She Who Must Be Obeyed told me to spread the word or there would be hairballs on my pillow. I used to have a statuette of Bast, but she knocked it off the shelf because there was only room for one deity in the home. The other live cat doesn't, apparently, count.

  37. Just thinking about it, this picture of Elmo does not mean that he's gay, just like that he likes large objects up his ass.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I read these in reverse from present backwards. This too was a marvelous set.

  39. I am stunned by the Kenyan lions one. Kudos to "Angry Aussie" for the brilliant comeback to such an appalling, ignorant, and absurd comment by a Kenyan official!

  40. I miss Grumpy Cat! I suspect that she and you are having lots of stimulating conversation on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge,HRH!
