Countdown to Baby Cheesus!

Hey, look at this cool Advent Calendar
that My Rare One gave me!

Instead of chocolates or candies,
this one is filled with cheese!

British cheese!

She got it at Safeway apparently.

It looks pretty classy inside, actually.

Each window is numbered between
1 and 24 in a countdown to Christmas,
the birthday of Baby Cheesus!

The window for December 1st
contained Cheddar cheese, yum.

Forthcoming cheeses include:

Applewood

Red Leicester

Double Gloucester

Cheddar with Caramelized Red Onion Chutney

Wensleydale with Crystallized Ginger,
Biscuit and Candied Orange Peel

Wensleydale with Sweetened Dried Cranberries

Obviously, my prayers have been answered!

It's going to be a tasty month!

  11. But.... I would prefer the chocolate :(
They should make one with a different type of beer each day, that would definitely be a Canadian sell out!

  20. Interesting. I've never heard of a cheese advent wreath. Being a chocoholic, I'd go for the chocolate every time. Hahaha

  36. My Morticia wanted one but I'm right and refused to spend 8 quid on an advent calendar when my chocolate one only cost a pound. In the end her mother bought her one with chocolates until the 24th which has a mini bottle of prosecco.

I did want a Lego one but they are REALLY expensive.
