Llama Llove

Following the Llamakah card sent by my sister,
My Rare One also gave me a card featuring llamas!

Isn't it cute?

Hey, how'd that guy sneak in?

Okay, that's all the bad puns I've got on this topic.

See you later --

  4. Oh I love these!! There was a young man who went to my daughter's highschool who did this whole llama routine with his hands / fingers- all I can remember was something like 'great big mama llama'...
We have an alpaca farm fairly close to us that is open to the public at certain times. It was heaven visiting there. Did you know they sound like Chewbaca? -Jenn

  5. Love me Llamas, although I do much prefer alpacas (llamas have big nose and snout, alpacas don't).

  11. Great groaners. I know someone who thinks he’s the Pun King and constantly shares on Facebook puns so bad I want to spit. Yours always make me smile, laugh, groan —- which is what good puns should do.

  13. Hi Debra, The great Ogden Nash is up to any occasion. --Jim
    ===========================
    The Lama by Ogden Nash

    The one-l lama,
    He's a priest.
    The two-l llama,
    He's a beast.
    And I will bet
    A silk pajama
    There isn't any
    Three-l lllama.*

*The author's attention has been called to a type of conflagration known as a three-alarmer. Pooh.

  14. These are so cute. I love llamas I used to have a picture of one on my locker ar work with a llama with heart sunglasses on saying, 'here's looking at you kid." It was put there by my last nightshift manager before she left for Florida. Her husband was in the airforce and he got orders to relocate there so of coarse she had to go too. Jeeze I miss her.

  15. My house is a NO DRAMA LLAMA ZONE, but for you, Deb, I'll make an exception because you're a LLAMA FUN!

  16. Do American llamas live in Allamabama?

  17. Alpaca my bags made me laugh!

As a speaker of Spanish, I try each one with an 'L' sound and a 'Y' sound. Some work both ways! (The Llamakah was truly brilliant!)

Llamas and alpacas are definitely having a moment!

  18. @Tusker Dunham: good one -- thanks for a llama belly laugh!

  20. These are so darn cute! I can never tell the difference between an alpaca and a llama. ;)
The girls had a favorite book that we used to read called: Is your Mama a llama? It was so sweet and cute; I saved to read with my *crossing fingers* future grandchildren.

  27. Llllllalamas are cool creatures. They guard other creatures, like herds of sheep and alpaca. So, llamaste.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I for one can't tell the difference between an alpaca and a llama.

  29. LOL- OMGOSH- I LOVE llamas~ I told my kids if I had a farm I would have llamas and baby goats...miniature ones. Llamas have always kind of fascinated me. I think it is their eyes...so 'deep"or something.

Happy Tuesday night. Hope you have a good week- xo Diana

ps. I have to admit- I bought a 'dancing llama' toy for one of the kids and couldn't bear to part with it. It is now part of my Christmas collection. lol

  30. OMG ~ These are so cute! I had no idea there were llama memes, Debra.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well, now I had to go look up the difference, and I am sad to announce that your Rare One probably sent you an alpaca card and not a llama one. Llama have long bananalike ears (oh grow up!). Alpacas have short stubby ears, and squooshy faces. Following the "Llama puns are coming" meme, I identify: llama, llama, can't tell (probably alpaca), alpacas, llamas, llama, llama.

  37. Ya'alpaca'd the cuteness in this one. I tried for creativity, but it didn't work. What's an alpaca? Must google.
    Llamaste to you too.

  38. I wonder when llamas got to be so trendy. I think it was well pass the Emperor's New Groove. LOL, my childhood home was ahead of the trend. We had lots of representations of llamas hanging around because my folks were from Peru.

  39. OMG. So cute. Love every one of them.

  40. Thanks to you, I now know some llama puns. Who knew they existed? Not me :)

  47. Awww! Llama are so adorable. There is a farm section at the zoo here where one can feed llamas. They are happy creatures being so spoiled there. I love how they appear to always be smiling.

  48. I've been seeing that the Llama has taken over the coveted top spot of the unicorn, so this post is perfect! Hugs, RO

  49. I so love llamas - at animal farms I always head over to the llamas, alpacas and of course the goats.
