Light the Menorah!

I'm not Jewish.

My sister's not Jewish.

But that didn't stop her from sending me
this ultra-cute greeting card!

Happy Hanukkah to everyone who is
celebrating the Festival of Lights
which begins this evening at sunset!

Bonus cuteness:

Nothing is off limits. And I do send good wishes to those celebrating whatever they wish believe.

And now I know when Llamakah is this year! Thanks. I asked the Kid Brother Tuesday and he said “not yet”... which is as close as he gets to a straight answer.

I've seen menorahs in a couple of windows in our city. We don't have much Jews here, but we did before WW2 which is why our local Synagogue is the second biggest in Europe.
Happy Winterfall, Debs!

I heard a new-to-me song last night: "let's spend hanukkah in santa monica"; it was cute. 8 nights of light; we sure could use that right now.

I did a Christmas tree all in blue and silver one year, got lots of Hanukkah comments on that one. I just like the color.

I would get Hanukkah cards from my Jewish godfather every year and I loved them. They were so cute.

How funny! Just last night a friend was describing this card to me! Her sister-in-law had sent her this card, and as she described it she said 'La-ma-kah'. I said, in Spanish a double 'L' is pronounced 'Y', so it's even better! We had a hearty chuckle!

That blow up bear with the dreidl is awesome!

Best wishes for all the holidays, m'dear!

It is a great card. The picture would make a great real lawn display.

Hopefully everyone who celebrates will have a Happy Hanukkah!

On Project Runway last week a woman wore a sweater that read "Jewnicorn."
I thought of that today on LLamakah!

It falls into the common category of St. Patricks (not Irish) and Cinco de Mayo (Not Mexican) as any reason to party esp. if it involves fried tasty things.

I have friends that, when their boys were young, put up Hanukkah lights and outside decorations. The boys couldn't stand that their house was the only one undecorated during December. All lights are beautiful!

That is too cute. I've been into Llamas since the Grand girl got into the Llama Llama kids series of books.

I am still waiting for the Hanukkah fried chicken sandwich my husband promised me (fried foods are traditional around Hanukkah - OK it really should be doughnuts and latkes, but I want a fried chicken sandwich)
