Well, Leap Year has rolled around again
and so today we get an extra day on the calendar!
How are you going to celebrate?
Leap Year brings some good things in 2020 . . .
. . . and some not-so-good things too.
But hey, if you're doing the
"three day challenge" this year --
Good news! You only have to do two days now!
Happy Leap Year. Don't think about Trump.
ReplyDeleteI get an extra day of a cat holding a bunch of red roses on my calendar, could life get any better than that?
ReplyDeleteHey, I’m all for the two alcohol-free days. Count me in.
ReplyDeletePlanning to give the dog a bath today. And I'm doing steak on the grill for dinner - something I rarely do because I don't usually buy beef at all (but it was on sale yesterday at Smith's and couldn't resist). Other than that, a normal Saturday. Looking forward to daylight saving time as the next "holiday"!
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, Happy February 29th! We need more level-headed and dry-witted people like Mr. Bruenig.
ReplyDelete--Jim
It was all fun and games until the _____ one.
ReplyDeleteLuckily, for me in SC, it'selection day!
Just another day to make me tired. (Sorry, will perk up again soon.)
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know it was going to be a leap year until yesterday. :) I love living under my comfortable rock.
ReplyDeleteHee hee - Love that meme about changing the sheets. Happy Leap year Debra - I hope your are leaping for joy today.
ReplyDeleteThree day challenge? No alcohol? Oh dear...lets not get that crazy.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anyone born on a leap day. I wonder if they alternate which day to celebrate their birthday. Leap day should always be no appointment day.
ReplyDeleteI love these. I wonder what it's like to have your birthday only during a leap year. I love that most of the holidays are on weekends.
ReplyDeleteOMG I would've missed it if you did not tell me, I did not even know it's March already tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteMeans I don't have to pay the rent until tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think that it will be the two day challenge for me.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness it's another bissextile year already!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Leap Year Day!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that Halloween is on a Saturday this year. I didn't know that until I read your post. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWell, it certainly messes up my birthday, this year and next leap year.
ReplyDeleteHappy leap year
ReplyDeleteHope it was a great day!
ReplyDeleteHad a co-worker who just turned 8 yesterday.
ReplyDeleteGovernments might not agree at the idea of the challenges when they think about liquor tax. haha Let's enjoy a healthy week.
ReplyDeleteWhy does the day after leap day, feel like a Monday?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I missed my chance to not eat sugar for three days without terrible withdrawals. But there is hope. I will try in four years.
ReplyDeletenot in to challenges..LOL..I got to celebrate my divorce..Hope you are having a good weekend..
ReplyDeleteThe leap year will be good to us overall, when it comes to holidays.
ReplyDeleteIs it the calendar waiting for the earth to catch up with it? Or the earth catching up with the calendar. Or did I just say the same thing two different ways?
ReplyDeletefun memes all !
ReplyDeleteI didn't even notice, it was my day off and it just passed me by!
ReplyDeleteI think like a frog - I only wash my sheets approx once every four years (That's approximately every time I've had a bed guest). But I profess too much.
ReplyDeleteHappy March, Debra.
haha.. Happy Belated Leap Day!!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! These are hilarious. I volunteer with a woman who is born on February 29. She told me that technically she's in her sixties (or was it 70s?) but she just celebrated her 18th birthday :)
ReplyDeleteThe gift of an extra 24 hours! Love it! Of course I'm with NDT ~ my scientific hero. I hope that you had a great 29th, Debra!
ReplyDeleteI got special Leap Day tea to make up for an extra day of the orange pest. The tea is tasty, though I'd still rather have the pest packed off to Florida.
ReplyDeletehaha the trump one haha.................
ReplyDeleteI did the the no buying craft supplies challenge on those days...that's way harder than not drinking! haha ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Leap Year!!!
