Recently, I saw this charming, happy photo
which Cynthia of Life in Merlin
posted on her blog.
posted on her blog.
And all of a sudden,
a realization struck me!
Googly eyes improve EVERYTHING!
Like . . .
Cats!
Collections!
Babies!
Food!
Although, well, sometimes
those eyes CAN backfire . . . .
Statues!
Book covers!
Otherwise scary dudes!
Even THIS doofus!

ReplyDeleteOMG googly eyes are awesome! I loved the baby one. And Shakespeare!
The Orange One does not even need them to appear silly. Really.
XOXO
As if that scene from The Shining wasn't frightening enough! But these are hilarious... except for Covid-45; that's actually an improvement.
ReplyDeleteNow you've gone and made 'The Shining'funny!
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, These are great! I think that Galway Pie & Pastry looked equally vile even before the eyes were added--honestly, who would eat that?
ReplyDelete--Jim
That baby! LOL
ReplyDeleteGoogly eyes rule! Thanks for the giggles and guffaws, they are sorely needed this morning...
ReplyDeleteI love googly eyes. The censored baby face really got me; too funny!
ReplyDeleteI have a card of those googly eyes just itching to be used. I have been thinking of doing that with the juice bottles and stuff in the fridge. But David would think I'd have fallen out my rocker.
ReplyDeleteLOL Isn't there an old saying that goes, "the eyes have it"? (okay-I took a little liberty there-I think it was...the AYES have it. lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteDebra! O.O
ReplyDeleteThose are great eyes. They made my morning!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm thinking about what I have in the house that I can add googly eyes to. Thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteWasn't there an old song about "Goo-goo-googly eyes"???
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles and giggles!
Oh my goodness. I'm horrified by Googlie Gatsby, but intrigued by the Galway pie.
ReplyDeleteOh that chicken is disturbing!
ReplyDeleteBut the trump one looked normal to me?
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I love the baby.
ReplyDeleteThe lion was obviously horrified by being vandalized, um... I mean, improved. And the pie was just sick, lol!
ReplyDeleteGoogly eyes are just creepy in general. If I become enlightened about them I'll let you know.
ReplyDeleteI saw a pair of these eyes on a timber last week.
ReplyDeleteWhen I cleaned out the back room at the ranch, I donated many packs of googly eyes to an art outreach program. Wish I had saved a few for the hijinks factor!
ReplyDeleteA pair of googly eyes changes everything - in the silliest of ways.
ReplyDeleteThe turkey pic is my favorite. Perhaps I'll try it next Tgiving.

ReplyDeleteFor some strange reason (I suspect the Nargles are behind it) I could not leave word in the next entry. I too like how the chair looks. Going to Saskatchewan is on my bucket list as I remember in 6th grade getting an "A" for being the only child who could pronounce it properly.
ReplyDeleteOh the horror. These eyes are outta sight.
ReplyDeleteHilarious. Some of them are just so perfect.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a couple white beach balls and paint black circles on them, you can stick them in a leafy tree and make them stare at your neighbours
Jack Nicholson was so funny. And the baby. I loved them all
