This blog can never have too many bee images!
MANY THANKS
to these perceptive blog readers
who sent me the following
gorgeous bee images
they found on the internet --
From e of plufrompdx --
And even one from
Her Royal Highness the Cat --
Hahaha
ReplyDeleteThe Georgia O'Keefe one is priceless!
Also, the opposite of Straight As!
LOL
Thanks, I needed that.
XOXO
P.S. I planted in my little test garden all kinds of wiild flowers to see if I get some bees next year!
very very cute, especially the one about the hummingbird and the bees.
ReplyDeleteThe bees are finding it cold here these days. It was only 8C overnight.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in the country I've had plenty of bees land on me...and sting me....but the one that I remember the most was when I was sitting in church, all dressed up, and I looked down to see a huge bumblebee walking along on my lap. Talk about fear. Couldn't cry out because I was in church so I just sat still as a board and stared at the darn thing until it finally flew off.
ReplyDeleteIf the birds and the bees can get along why can't we :)
ReplyDeleteGay Bees.
ReplyDeleteI got my giggle on.
@ Laurie -- No, we're not getting any of the US wildfires smoke here in Edmonton, but Calgary and southern Alberta are blanketed with it. I guess we're too far north or have been protected by a cloudy low temperature front the past few days.
ReplyDeleteThe image of HRH is just so adorable! What a fantastic selection of Bee stuff! I've saved several of these to my Pinterest boards. Have a Bee-utiful day!
ReplyDeleteHRH has a sense of humor. and we REALLY need da beez!
ReplyDeleteGay bees. I guess that explains the queen.
ReplyDeleteDelightful display of our fuzzy, winged friends. Couldn't resist a smile.
ReplyDeleteI love the second meme!! I would love that!
ReplyDeleteI looked quickly at the images. I'll have to work up slowly. Fatally allergic and stung MANY times in my life, which is likely why a local allergy became a general one. I love bees. I know what wonders they are. But seeing one up close sets me off. I promise to keep trying.
ReplyDeleteThese are the bees' knees! I hope that that is a shoe at the bottom of that first t-shirt, otherwise some guy needs to see a doctor, stat!
ReplyDeletethe Georgia O'Keefe one is classic! All of the cute ones stole my heart.
@ Kirk -- Hahahahahaha, good one!
ReplyDelete@ Moving with Mitchell -- Sorry, man, I'll put a trigger warning on any future bee posts.
The pictures of the humming bird and the bees sipping water and the bumble climbing to the window had me going, awwwww.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful! And funny, and sweet. I love your bee posts!
ReplyDeleteYou saved the best for last, even if the cat looks completely over it.
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, I must have missed the call for bee images. Many old coins and tokens had bees and hives on them representing Industry. Here is a nice-looking example:

ReplyDeleteI have just bought a lovely cushion with a beautiful bee embroidered on it - I love it.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Debra - we can never have to many bees. I love them.

And album just for you!
Ha. Gay bees - clever!
ReplyDeleteHRH is the bee's knees. Err, the bee's head. Very cute.
Cheers.
Both T-shirts are so cute! And the B-Cat too!
ReplyDeleteBee-you-tee-ful BEES!!
ReplyDeleteBees of all sizes have been missing this year. Usually when the Rose of Sharon blooms the big bees are out in force. I've only seen a few this year.
ReplyDelete@ bruce.desertrat -- Wow, what beautiful photos! Love all the bees in the cacti blooms especially! Thanks for creating that link for me!
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter got her first tattoo. A bee.
ReplyDeleteI like bees because I love honey.
ReplyDeleteI do love me the bees.
ReplyDeleteHave I told you this before? My sister had a sign that she put up after she got her first job.
ReplyDelete"No Bees, no honey.
No Job, no money."
She still doesn't like to work! :-)
Pretty cool pics.
ReplyDeleteI must be a little obtuse today as I don't really get the Georgia O'Keefe one.
i love all these bee images! i'm so worried about the bees, i hardly ever see any around here and it makes me sad so when i do see one i tell them how much i love them and ask them to please come back again and bring their friends.

Hehehehe ... the Georgia O'Keeffe comic is so funny! You know I'm swiping it so that I can include it in my Modern Art class. *snicker*
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day I'll have to tell you about the imaginary friend I had when I was a kid -- Bizz Buzz the Bumblebee. :)
Fantastic post on bees. I do everything I can to attract them to my yard.
ReplyDeleteHave a very nice day.
This is a BEE-U-TIFUL post. You know I'm all about the bees....the pic of the hummer with the bumble bees took my breath away; lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI'm copying the Georgia O'Keefe one. One of my childhood memories is being stung by a bee I was harassing. I meant no harm just overly curious.
ReplyDeleteGood to have you back. Hope the summer was a good one despite all the restrictions and everyone there is healthy?
ReplyDeleteYesterday, while I watered my plants, I had a wasp land on my forearm. We stared at each other for a few seconds... Now I can't believe I didn't thanked it for the compliment.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for gay bees.
ReplyDeleteThe hummingbird is sharing with honeybees. Honeybees are thinner, more compact. My father and grandfather were beekeepers, I was raised on a honey farm, known by the neighbors as the funny farm.
ReplyDeleteI was very charmed by the bees and the hummingbird getting their refreshment on at the same time. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteoh that bird with bees looks spectacular :)
ReplyDeleteas child i loved bees as back there they were in abundance in spring specially
sweet post dear Debra :)
blessings!
I remember hanging a well meant hummingbird feeder at our house ... but my kidlets were lil and the feeder turned out to become a wasps feeder ... and the rest is history. c.
ReplyDeleteLove these, Debra! Some of the images are amazing ~especially the hummer with the little bees.
ReplyDeleteI love these images Deb! The photo with the hummingbird and the bees is amazing! I love the t-shirt! So cute!
