You make Nessie SAD
when you don't believe.
Because, after all --
So here's an important reminder, Nessie!
Speaking of Loch Ness, last month My Rare One and I watched an outstanding TV series called "The Loch" which takes place there. It's a 6-part murder mystery about a serial killer and is just full of twists 'n turns! It was made in Britain by ITV in 2017 and may be called "Loch Ness" in some settings instead of "The Loch." If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it! (Acorn TV streaming service appears to have it and, for Canadians, so does CBC Gem streaming service).
i believe!
ReplyDeletethe show looks cool, i'll see if i can find it.
love & kisses & magical wishes!

There are bigger monsters than Nessy around us.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know nessie believed in me. Hmm, I need to rethink this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence. Was doing a crossword yesterday and one of the questions was about Inverness.
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha
ReplyDeleteGoth Ness Monster? Love it!
I have always been fascinated by the legends and the lore and the scientists trying to explain Nessie. And I’m gonna have to hunt down that series!
XoXo
nessie is more believable than bigfoot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation - always looking for something new to watch and British mysteries are right up my alley. I have been to both Loch Ness and the Loch Ness monster museum multiple time and can only quote the infamous words of Angus Crock "is there a monster in your lake?"

@ Lady M -- Ye cheeky wee monkey!
ReplyDeleteOch aye, cheers fur th' smiles 'n' fur recommending Th' Loch.
ReplyDeleteThe Loch Down Monster!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to watch this. And you might want to watch the 1970 Billy Wilder film The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, in which the Loch Ness Monster figures into the plot.
ReplyDeleteI believe!!!
ReplyDeleteIf people would just stop calling her a monster . . . .
ReplyDeleteOf course I believe! I also believe in Sasquatch! 'There are more things in heaven and earth...' thus spake the Bard.
ReplyDeleteLove the memes! Worth more than a chuckle!
I’ll look for that series! Sounds like my kind of tv.
ReplyDeleteThat TV series sounds perfect for the season. Sad thing is I have no idea what Acorn TV is, but I'll look around.
ReplyDeleteNessie is a very cool legend. I actually wish such things were real.
ReplyDeleteThe series looks good.
I love a British procedural, as much for the soothing backgrounds as the crime solving.
ReplyDeleteHello Debra, There is also a Lake Erie Monster, but I believe it stays closer to the Michigan side. I have some Victorian photos of Loch Ness. I'll have to examine them with a lens to see if I can detect anything.
ReplyDelete--Jim
Nessie rules! Saskquatch drools! Yeti cool!
ReplyDeleteI believe!!!
ReplyDeleteI just added "The Loch" to my watch list. Thanks!
Those jumpers cracked me up. So 70's.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster anymore. But I remember arguing endlessly with a friend about the Loch Ness Monster. Not whether he existed or not, but whether he was an elasmosaurus (his theory)or a plesiosaurus (my theory). However unlikely either were, my idea was more plausible.
ReplyDeleteAnother great set. No favs this time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the series rec.! I recognize the taller of the two actresses in the show's promo. She's brilliant.
ReplyDeleteCreepy. Stranger things have happened and worse forms of life have existed (one is a President).
ReplyDeleteCheers.
I Believe in You Nessie with all my heart!
ReplyDeletefun post dear Debra :)
ReplyDeleteenjoyed it so much
i wish i can find the show on Netflix ,i like such shows that give mind some work
blessings!
So this is where the Nessie baby's comment came from. I just noticed your blog update on my sidebar. Sometimes posts don't show up on the sidebar until hours after they've been posted which means they are not near the top. Then I don't notice them until later in the day/night. My sidebar is my reader.
ReplyDeleteWhy not believe in the Loch Ness Monster, or the Yeti or Sasquatch. It doesn't hurt anyone unless one carries it to extremes. I'd love to go looking for Nessie.
ReplyDeleteMy ancestors are from Scotland, so a small part of me believes in Nessie. I've been thinking about getting the Acorn channel, this might push me to do it. I would love a coffee mug with "Believe in yourself when nobody else does".
ReplyDeleteThere's so much we haven't seen that probably exists. Shit, there's things I probably haven't seen in my own neighborhood, but they're there!
ReplyDeleteI don't have Acorn but have been thinking about subscribing..I'm sure I would love that series that you saw...Love the Loch Down monster..
ReplyDeleteI believe anything I see. Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteI believe!
ReplyDeleteI watched that series a while back. I remember I liked it. I might just rewatch it to enjoy the end.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! Going to look for the tv show!
