Hahaha Love these! I went to a Van Gogh exhibit at the Art Institute here in Chi and it was FABULOUS. Only drawback? Half of the Midwest decided to go too, and I had to go in the middle of the week to avoid the crowds. BTW, Matthew Gray Gubler could send me anything in a Tiffany jewelry box.
A really cute post. I enjoyed it very much. Sorry to say the destruction of art in museums is starting to take off with this younger, (stupid uneducated) generation. It is sad to me. Just one more thing. I hope you have a great day.
Thank goodness I don’t have to cut off an ear to paint. Although it just might help lol I do not agree that vandalism is a good way to prove your point It is an excellent way to turn people off your point of view So very counterproductive I think
I really, really could not believe these idiots throwing stuff at our great old paintings. I mean really. I love the glasses and van gough - that was my life before cataract surgery. I also think the one-eared bat cap was a hoot.
I understand the VAN-dalism is under an on-GOGH-ing investigation.
ReplyDeleteYou always give me a chuckle, Debra. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe genius of the tortured mind
ReplyDeleteI'd go to prom if someone gave me that kind of invite!!
ReplyDeleteYou're Goghing all out here. I love the sunflower painting thrown at the Campbell's soip!
ReplyDeleteVery fine work here friend - you brought a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteI love the glasses advertisement and the prom-posal! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI'm rather relieved that no one ever gave me a bloody fake ear. I love the van stop and go.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Hahaha

ReplyDeleteI'm the brother's cousin who drinks too much --- gotta go also
ReplyDeleteThis is Goghing a bit too far. But the family names was a good one.
ReplyDeleteAll these puns are so fun! I am a little interested to read about Van Gough again
ReplyDeleteThe Batman one is hysterically delicious. Most share.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you for mentioning Reid, a new season of Criminal Minds started yesterday and I nearly forgot. Let the binging begin!
Thank goodness I don’t have to cut off an ear to paint.

van clutch, van stop, van groan.
ReplyDeleteWay-To-Gogh! Funny. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love Dr Spencer Reid (aka MGG), and Penny Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) too. I have the dvds, complete collection. One of my favourite shows.
ReplyDeleteVan Gogh finally gets his due. He was totally unknown when he was alive. Even the internet hadn't heard of him.
ReplyDeleteThere's a few things I'd love to throw tomato soup at. And that's about as far as my rebellious nature goes.
ReplyDeleteThat definitely would explain the missing ear
ReplyDeleteI'm stealing the family tree. I promise to protect it from any objects thrown at it.

ReplyDeleteThat glasses ad is clever. Love the family tree although it doesn't really work in Britain as we say Van Gogh - gough?
ReplyDeleteVan Gogh is one of those poor sods who did one stupid thing in life and it's what's he remembered for.
ReplyDeleteThe last one! HAHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteThe family tree is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteLoved the Star Trek.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't work in UK English since we pronounce GOGH as GOF and not GO. 🤣🤣🤣
ReplyDeleteI'm not even going to try to do a pun...your other readers have beat me to all the good ones.
ReplyDeleteOmg, I once owned a Taurus: such a lost opportunity, lol!
ReplyDeleteI loved all of these, Debra!
ReplyDeleteThe one with the person throwing Sunflowers over the soup amused me
