  6. Thank you! This is a tremendous relief for Americans -- and for our neighbors as well, I'm sure.

  7. Awesome News! We have had a bad few years. Hopefully the future will be better.

  8. It's a relief but we are not out of the woods. For the next four years we need to stand up for President elect Biden because the Trumpanezes will be looking for blood.

  9. FUCK YEAH WE DID! thanks for your patience, canada; things WILL get better between us!

  10. There was such a collective sigh of relief, the world started spinning a little fast.

  11. Congratulations to our American neighbours! A momentous achievement for your country...welcome back to the world!

I almost hope Rump throws a big tantrum on moving day so that the SEAL Team he dissed can have the pleasure of hauling him out of the White House by the scruff of his neck or shooting a big ole tranquilizer dart in his ass... or both, LOL!

  12. I am thrilled, of course, but the thing in the white house is fighting it with lies, and court, and what ever else he can come up with. I just wish he and his family would sneak off in the night to some other country. He knows as soon as he is carried out of the WH he will be arrested.

  13. Thanks Debra. I feel like someone who's been held hostage for four years and just got rescued. Our tormentor can't hurt us anymore. (Well he possibly can but I think congress may have the gonads to keep him under control.)

  14. Thank you Debra - and thank god it's over! It is a heavy weight off America's shoulders!

  15. One of my friends said that it was like the longest orgasm ever. I said it was an excruciating tease that could easily be an anticlimax. But the old man did. And I'd never thought a 77 year old man could do this.

  16. Deb ~ thanks for the great post! And thank you for your comment on my blog ~

  19. Better days are ahead. We are so full of hope and joy!

  20. I'm not gonna lie, seeing how the rest of the world celebrated the news had me a bit weepy. It's good to know the good people around the world were willing to save a space for us. I'm sure there's a snarky Churchill quote that would fit perfectly here, but there's a lot of work yet to be done and a lot of people here ready to get to work.

  21. Hello Debra, I am sure that your looking out for us had a positive influence on this election. What an anxious nightmare the last four years was, and the relief is now being felt around the world.

  22. Yes big congratulations to America.
Now if they can just make it through to 20 January 2021 without Trumpy boy exacting his revenge.
Big hugs all round from down under in Australia.

  23. It's appropriate that you have Teri Garr from Young Frankenstein. The last four years have seemed like a Mel Brooks parody, but it's the closing credits now.

  24. Before anyone hyperventilates to a cosmic orgasm of a Harris/biden win, let me give you a very brutal reality check.

The GOP will still have control of the Senate when all is said and done in January. Which means they'll be able to keep the House and the WH in check from implementing some of their more outlandish ideas. They'll probably be the ones voting on using the 25th amendment as well (yes, for those who don't read much, the man had two very serious brain surgeries in the 90's, thus the main reason why he was kept hidden).

You may now continue with your happy dance. :D

  25. it is like a calm has settled on most of the country; but we still have to deal with the KKK, Proud Boys, Q Anon, militia and other extreme armed factions on the far right that support Trump and are looking for an excuse to be seen. Soon these groups will again be considered the idiotic extremists they are.

  26. What a relief it is to know that he no longer has his hand anywhere near that nuclear button.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, thank you. Thank you very much. πŸ˜πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

  28. Thanks Deb..What a relief..He has a lot of damage control to take care of...Unfortunately the Republican Senate will limit what he can do..It's always that way..sadly..Appreciate your support..Hugs

  29. It is hoped any budding Trump-like shenanigans sprouting in the Providences are nipped in the bud before it follows what we just went through.

  30. Lady M ~ your comment on the "Trumpanzees" was spot on!! I'd not heard that one before ~ I love it!

  34. *yells at the top of my lungs* Philly, Philly!!!

OK, I'm from the Philadelphia suburbs (30 minutes from it's edge, 45 to 60 minutes from points central) but I love that lunatic town.

  35. HAHA. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And it's a big congrats to the world too.

Wish I could say we couldn't have done it without you, but Canada was wise to keep us from pouring across the US-Canada border. That helped us secure this gloriously glorious win!

    Again, thank you, Debra.
    I'm still in celebratory mode.

  36. I am seeing way too much of that thug, Gritty these days.

  39. Indeed a Debt of Gratitude to PA for Scoring the Game-Winning Goal! Shit, my State {AZ} is still Counting! *LOL* I had Family and Friends that live in other Countries calling me to Congratulate us and say "Welcome Back America"! The entire World is Rejoicing that we ousted this Sociopath Fascist and his Grifter Crew! I can't wait to see the first ever Forcible Eviction from the WH in American History!

  40. Thanks, Debra! My brother Roy, my sister Donnie, and I had a three-way celebration on Saturday night on FaceTime. It was wonderful. Nova Scotia, Alberta, and Colorado linked like we were at the kitchen table together. Of course, Terry was there too. It was wonderful to feel hope!!! We were giddy with happiness and relief!
