  6. With sisters like that ...

I am very disappointed. I bought glow-in-the-dark poster paints for the grandchildren to use when they came to play yesterday. But it doesn't!

  12. "Not a body" ... but how do we know for sure? And henceforth, my morning coffee will be called mystical portion, because it is. Makes me feel alive, LOL.

  13. Old Crow. Maybe my costume next year. Although I’d love to go as a cauliflower skeleton.

  14. I love seasonal vegetables! Our sisters have the same humor, unfortunately for mine, hers is unruly and combustible. For today, I celebrate the waning year and tomorrow I will deal with the relative.

Corn on the Macabre, awesome!!! I love that one with the "not" dead body...I should totally do that and leave it out year round, I think I would really freak out my neighbours lol!

  21. Happy Halloween! And on a side note: I do exactly what TarotReaderPeter describes. In fact I have been doing it since childhood.

  26. Always wanted to do up a garbage bag 'body' and leave it out for pickup. That is such a great gag. Did you get lots of little monsters trick or treating. Not a thing here...yet.

  27. ha,ha, I like the chair on the porch one!

  28. @ The Blog Fodder -- I live in an apartment so I don't get trick or treaters, but My Rare One got about 75 last night at her house, she says. She just put out two big bowls of candy on a table at the end of her driveway and let them help themselves. Covid safety!

  29. The "not a body" sign is a riot! That is a creepy looking package.

  30. "Not a body" has to be the funniest one. And, I have to agree eating fresh in-season produce is best (I think I have a few pumpkins left)! Hope your day was filled with happiness and ghosties.

  31. Looks as though your sister has the same sense of humor you do!! Hope you had a good weekend..

  32. Laughed out loud at the goth corn.

  33. Halloween doesn't end on the 31st. It is a state of mind. The pumpkins shrivel but the broom survives. Every time you eat candy it is Halloween.

  36. I'm reading late. Wish I had read on time so I could have shared on FB/Meta. Hahaha. I loved the cauliflower skeleton face. I may try to make that next year.
