Signal Boost!

Help out a grad student, willya?

Blogging buddy (The Gods Are Bored) Anne Johnson's daughter needs a lot of people to take a survey she created about news sources and late-night comedy shows. The survey only takes about five minutes and is found here:

Although the survey is geared towards Americans, input is also welcome from Canadians and others.

  1. Done it!
    Love the idea.
Hopefully people with large followings will re-post it!

  2. If I a) owned a tv, b) watched it, I'd be glad to help a graduate student. But I hope she gets a good response and the project goes well! Will we hear the upshot?

  3. @ Boud -- I don't know if we'll hear the outcome, but hopefully her Mom will post some results on her blog in due course.

  4. I don't watch any news on tv - I see it online so that is what my answers reflected.

  5. Did it. But, as I have a tendency to do, my answers were short and to the point.

  6. Unfortunately, one needs to sign in with Google to take the survey. Google and I haven't been on speaking terms in about 10 years, so I cannot sign in. Sorry.

  8. Like many above, I don't watch news on tv. I do read it on my phone but only from the sources I've selected.

  9. I did it and it was easy. But i don't watch news on tv so probably my answers aren't valid.

  10. I completed the survey, but, I don't watch any TV as it is not hooked up to any antenna source and what I have seen is online and I don't give much credence to talk shows and their hosts. Just a dancing monkey, dance monkey, dance.

  11. Am I the only person in the world whose majority source of news is radio? I read local newspapers and watch TV news, too. I like a variety of sources so that I don't get suckered by gathering news from only one source or one bent. I like getting opposing/different sides of the "news".

  12. Done! And hey, I remember that blog. It's been a bit since I checked it out. Thanks for reminding me!

  13. I want to thank all of you who participated. The results will help my daughter prove that some people are getting their news from John Oliver and other satirical comics. Daughter is very grateful for the many participants!
