Let's All Knit and Crochet!

Pretty sure these next 3 oversized cats
are AI generated or photoshopped,
but they're still fun to look at!

How about knitting a sweater
featuring a classic meme like
"This Is Fine" --

A bold fashion statement, LOL!

  1. Anne Marie would have got a kick out of these!!!!! She always joked about knitting me a willy warmer....so the shark gave me a good chuckle.

  3. Between the crocs [dear god, Maddie ignored them] and the breastfeeding cap, and the unfortunate-looking "shark" I can't decide my favorite!

  4. I'm uneasy about all these giant cats, the buildings and now they're moving indoors. I think they're planning something.

  5. The breastfeeding in public is a must-have! Did Grandma not realize what the shark blanket would look like? These are wonderful. Thanks for the smiles!

  12. The shark blanket looks a bit like an elephant as well. Can't imagine why you think those first three kitties are AI generated! Cute post

  15. I kind of think that breastfeeding one is a real winner. Tasteful and highly functional.

  17. Ha the shark blanket and the breast feeding baby cap are hilarious. Where do you find them Debra??

  18. OMG I agree with Mads: Anne Marie would have LOVED these!
I'm partial to the Star Wars motif, though. And the kitty in a knitted sweater?? Is there anything more adorable???

  20. The shark blanket is hilarious, and I love the cat wearing a sweater. I don't know how anyone could get a cat to wear clothes. Re: breastfeeding--I've never understood why anyone would be offended by it. It's the normal, natural way to feed a baby. Some people actually think it's sickening. I loved having that bond with my babies.

    Love,
    Janie

  21. Love the crocs. What a brilliant idea! The cats are a bit scary. Breastfeeding one could actually work in some locations! Great post. Very much enjoyed it.

  22. I'd wear the last one! Also if I were to try and crochet a blanket that's what mine would end up like.

  23. Knitters and crocheters are amazing! Hilarious whether intentional or not. I wouldn't be surprised if those giant cats are actual costumes - you can see the shape of a human underneath them.

For some reason my blog reader saved up three posts from you to appear today. The mysteries of technology, I guess...

  24. I love the breastfeeding hat for the baby.
    So funny!
And I had to do a double-take on the shark blanket.

  25. Thank you.

My state's flagship higher education institution (the University of Missouri) has a tiger for an athletic team mascot, and the huge tiger would fit in perfectly there.

  29. I have long yearned to know how to knit or crochet - 'just because' alas alas how and where to start? I have no idea somewhat because I don't have anything really to knit.

  30. Gosh, brings to mind the saying "give her a ball of steel wool and she'll knit you a stove"! I can't knit or crochet for any amount of money and I've a few very patient, competent teachers try.
