Spooky Greetings
to you all, my devoted
legion of loyal fans.
Yes, 'tis I,
Her Royal Highness the Cat,
the only bright spot & saving grace
of yet another dreadfully dull post
from my sullen, ragamuffin human.
Sweet Goddess Bast,
if I see any more
orange & black,
I'm gonna puke!
So let's end this with a bit more
glitter & pizzazz
shall we?
(On second thought, I'm gonna puke
on the carpet anyway, just because
it's fun to annoy my human.)
Trick or Treat, Bitchez!
I'm outta here!
Well, this Cat Lady loved them all!
ReplyDeleteGood ones. I like the cat on the broomstick with the wine glass and the cat photobombing, and the cats with the pumpkins.
ReplyDelete...Debra, what a catastic collection.
ReplyDeleteThe cat on the broom with the wine glass looks appropriately annoyed.
ReplyDeleteBest is the flying cat with glass raised. That's the way.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm a cat lady (with no current cat), and rather like all of these but I must say, HRH does seem rather ... 🤷🤔 Take a nap, cat!! 😴😺
ReplyDelete...and there SHE is. I was wondering when she'd be honoring us this season!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
🙀 Ah, yes, back when daguerreotype cats (and people) knew how to be stone-cold spooky! Not like today's photobombing cats who look more befuddled than scary! 😻
ReplyDelete@ Cleora Borealis -- I received a beautiful card in the mail yesterday from the Animal Rescue League of El Paso -- thank you! HRH thanks you too!
DeleteThe world needs more well loved cats.
ReplyDeleteOK these posts are actually quite spooky! Well done!
ReplyDeleteoh very much love dee glitter and pizzazz!!
ReplyDeleteHi Debra, Apparently HRH really does know best! --Jim
ReplyDeleteBat-cats would be fun to see flying through the air!
ReplyDeleteThe photo-bomb cat is pretty cute!
ReplyDeleteOnly HRH would drink wine while flying.
ReplyDeleteTrick or treat, HRH. Go for both actually, and puke at the dog next door's home. Give that human a break for once, babe. Okay?
ReplyDeleteThose are great, I love them.
ReplyDeleteIm grateful to you, HRH, for this wonderful post but I wish you would speak more kindly about your human.
ReplyDeleteMy familiar would def be the cat on the broom with the wine glass
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to see HRH !!! She looks so demure in the last picture :)
ReplyDeleteIt would be right down scary if the United States elect Trump.
ReplyDeleteNot too spooky.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love cats and all they bring to the season.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly her time of year.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the matter, HRH, did you lose your tiara on your last broom ride? Well, happy Halloween anyway, ya mangy old bitch!
ReplyDelete@ Tundra Bunny -- WHO's calling WHO mangy? At least I don't have BUCK TEETH. And yes, Happy Halloween to you as well.
DeleteThere are some very scary cats around and I number you as one, HRH.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the cat pictures here. I have always found myself drawn to such things, even though, in the past, I was a total dog person. I think I’m still a dog person, but four years ago I rescued a cat, and there was no looking back after that. He absolutely owns me.
ReplyDelete@ Pattie @ Olla-Podrida -- Glad you got converted to be one of us "cat people" now!
DeleteThe fourth picture down looks like a great cover of cat-inspired Halloween tales (or is that Halloween inspired cat Tales?) Either way, we could call it "Cat O' WIne Tales."

@ Breenlantern -- Yes, it's the perfect book title, GROAN!
ReplyDeleteVery funny ones.
ReplyDeleteBut the red dot is standing still!
ReplyDeleteMy black cat Tiberius was King of the Cats at Halloween.
ReplyDeleteLovely collection, YRH. That first one is spooky but the rest are appropriate for the audience. I especially like the Familiar card. And, you look magnificent and tolerant in glitter and sparkles. Now, that's acting!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this post.
