Friday Face OFF -- Smiling Grandma

For this week's Friday Face OFF link party
of art featuring faces, hosted by Nicole of

Here's another portrait which I did
in my coloured pencils class.

This charming elderly lady is from the country
of Georgia in the Caucasus region of Eurasia.

Wrinkles are damn hard to do,
that's all I can say.
And I didn't even put all of hers in!

  8. I'm sure she won't hate you for leaving off a few wrinkles. Through your drawing skills, you are better than Oil of Olay.

  9. I wonder if she would recognize herself if she could see this!

  10. I think she is lovely with all or just some of her wrinkles.
Her face says she's just about to tell me something that I might not want to hear, like I've put on weight? Or perhaps I have something in my teeth?

    1. @ Codex -- There's about 6 hours worth of work in that one.
