Women and men who value equality and progress
need to speak out and act against male supremacist misogyny.
This is urgent because active online indoctrination
of the youngest demographics is taking place right now.
They need to hear the truth from you.
i'm a big fan f coice.... if i choose not to have children because i believe the earth is already overpopulated then that's nobody else's business but mine..... if i choose to go out protesting in the streets proclaiming nobody should have children then that's where me and my choices part company.... same way i don't eat meat but i woudn't suggest that's a lifestyle for anyone else unless they choose it
ReplyDelete...amen, sister.
ReplyDeleteSomeone should send this to the GOP !!!
ReplyDeleteI just read that in China or Japan was it, to increase the population they were giving those that had children tax breaks? As if the population their needs more. I think the Earth is over populated as it is!!
Yes, it's vital to name this male arrogance and fear for what it is.
ReplyDeleteSo many of the right things being said here.
ReplyDeleteIt's always about power.
ReplyDeleteEspecially over women. Some men are terrified of women. And it shows...
XOXO
I thought that the Women’s Lib Movement had made a significant dent in misogyny years ago. Kind of like LGBTQ Lib - there’s now those who are aggressively trying to take us backwards. Progress seems to be by inches rather than by miles. As for “birth rates” - sure, let’s continue to overpopulate, encourage war, pestilence, pollution and starvation. Surely that is “god’s will.”
ReplyDelete@ Frank -- One step forward, two steps back. That's why the struggle always continues. We must not ever be complacent about our rights, freedoms, and democracy.
DeleteWe all need to stand up for one another. Sure I can demand LGBTQ+ RIGHTS, BUT I don't have to do that to the detriment of women and people of color and immigrants and so on.
ReplyDeleteBut my question is: if women OWE the world children what do men OWE the world? I mean, they are raising the children or supporting the children ... in fact the man in that white house apparently rapes the children.
The older I get, the more I see the patriarchy in every shadow although in this case, that is not some sort of conspiracy illness. It is simply that my eyes are far more open than they used to be.
ReplyDeleteI strongly believe that women have given rights equal to men,it certainly must be only their own choice what they want to do with their bodies and lives.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dear Debra ๐ค
You rock ๐๐ฅฐ♥️
There is SO much that is wrong. It's the sense of entitlement for everything and anything they seem to wish for in their tiny little brains --- at the top appears to be sex. They expect to be able to rape with impunity - men, women, children. It's sickening. Do they want to care for the children they create? According to the way they all vote: No.
ReplyDeleteEducating young women and girls is paramount!
ReplyDelete@ Marie Smith -- And so is educating young men and boys to treat girls and women as equals. Male supremacists are targeting them too with this garbage, trying to create the "next generation" of woman haters..
DeleteOH HELL YEAH!! Amen to all of this.
ReplyDeleteHow did we, as a democratic society, let this get so fucked up?
ReplyDeleteI am an old, gay male. In all of my life, it has always been a strong woman who has had my back. Who protected me. Who encouraged me. Who gave me worthy, life altering advice. I will ALWAYS have a woman's back.
Fuck this 1940's mentality that the GOP and the Christians are forcing down our throats.
If there was any justice in the universe, all male supremacists would be reincarnated as the women and/or uteri they want to control so much and be on the receiving end of misogyny for a change!
ReplyDelete๐คช Matt Walsh says women "owe' children because he has to stir up controversy to keep viewers for his show on Daily Wire and lunatics commenting on his X account. He just oozes smug contempt for anyone who dares to not be him.
ReplyDeleteHe brags that he found his wife on "e-harmony," on his first try (woo-hoo!), in 2011. And, he adds "that was back when people were serious about finding a life mate and not just using hook-up apps" like all the unserious scum today! ๐คจ Well, let's all bow in awe of Matt's superiority!!
๐ค I find it fascinating that Walsh is super-happy in "his busy household of wife, Alissa, and 6 kids." But Alissa considers herself to have 13 children. From her X account: "I’ve had 7 miscarriages...We mourned each child, remember them on their conception and due dates, and have named each child. They are our children, not fetuses." OK, do that if you want, but are you sure Matt counts the miscarriages as kids?
This also means that Alissa has been pregnant at least once for every year she's been married to Matt and she is happy she is not like the "abortion lovers in MN who approve of abortion on demand until the birthdate which is the slippery slope to infanticide!" Yikes! ๐ณ๐ฌ My mind just swirls with the question these Walsh folks have put in my head. If Alissa has been pregnant 13 times and Matt only has 6 children running around his busy household, does Alissa "OWE" him seven kids? Yah, it's harsh, but Matt set the terms for the debate!! ๐คฌ
I'm glad more women are making good choices for themselves.
ReplyDeleteI was singing to myself today, 'How to handle a woman . . .' and I thought, "you don't handle a woman." You must be rubbing off on me!
ReplyDeleteAMEN!
ReplyDeleteWomen will never give up!
ReplyDeleteWe definitely need to hear more men speaking out. When women speak out we are labeled hysterical, selfish, ignorant, etc. Come on men, use your voices, your power, your platform.
ReplyDelete@ e -- You're absolutely right! Just like the LGBTQ community needs staight allies, so do women need male allies to speak and act against male supremacist misogyny.
DeleteWell said
ReplyDeleteMatt Walsh himself is pathetic and pointless.
ReplyDeleteCodex: Keep in mind debra, that there are many fathers who want their daughters to be selfulfilled independent women. I watch what is going in and it's going backwards.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous (Codex) -- Oh, I am well aware of that. We need more good fathers like that and we need them to be very vocal and active in support of women's rights.
DeleteThe US has been complacent for so long that when it all falls to the POS in the white house, they don't know what to do. Women especially are in for a bad time.
ReplyDeleteHii, haa๐ the cowboy and cat suit perfectly to look at same time with the horrible Danish music ๐๐๐ธ
ReplyDeleteYes, women's rights are in severe danger, and not only in the U.S.A. It's terrifying how some so called civilised countries' governments are trying to turn back time, for women and anyone else who doesn't fit in their way of thinking. I'm afraid for the future tbh.
ReplyDeleteJust in case anyone hasn't come across Kiki Rockwell, I present Same Old Energy. Some feminist rage for you! https://youtu.be/MZDWqU8LAMU?si=R2ibMUCpwyCpJ1RD
ReplyDeleteTina in west oz.
@ Anonymous (Tina in west oz) -- Thanks for the music video link -- alas, history can and does repeat, as she sings. But forewarned is forearmed!
DeleteOh wow! Young people are thinking this? That women need to bear children? No wonder they are not even getting married!! In India, kids of both genders don't want to get married, saving us parents a lot of money and anxiety. :)
