Hi Debra, That comment seemed bizarre, but after listening to the clip, it turned out to be a pretty fair transcription. However, I think it works better as the soundtrack to a movie than as a solo piece. After the third "yayayayaya" I couldn't hit that pause button fast enough. --Jim
TCM is running a great documentary, "Ennio", about him and how he became the legend. It was really well done! If you can find it; here's the IMDb link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3031654/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_1
GREAT! Wolololol WAW WAW WAW 😅😂 And that crazy cat 😺 Wonderful musical performance! I have a catchy tune for today... Love from Austria, Traude 🌿 https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2025/08/mit-dem-enkel-durchs-waldviertel-und-in.html
Great post! The question was well written and most people could interpret the tune, I'll bet. I loved seeing the orchestra play it. The whistler, Waw Waw singer should have gotten special credit like the soprano did, imo. I feel like that kitty might need eye drops...
I have had the whole soundtrack album since I was a teenager. Ennio Morricone was a phenomenal composer, and the soundtrack for the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is inevitable of his best.
One of my favorite pieces of music! Love the cat though! It made me laugh!
ReplyDelete...ah, those Italian epic spaghetti Western films!

ReplyDeleteCodex: can't believe she kept a straight face during her wawawa.
ReplyDeleteI knew exactly what song they meant. I was impressed with the singer's whistling!
ReplyDeleteThat someone was able to figure out a song title based on that question is amazing!
ReplyDeleteVery good. Have a nice day today.
ReplyDeleteI love that gif. I had to steal it. Just in case.
ReplyDeleteToo bad they cut the cat from that scene! Danish National Symphony is SOOOOOO good!
