Remembrance Day

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
                    We will remember them.

--From "For the Fallen" by Laurence Binyon

                        LEST WE FORGET

  1. We had 2 minutes of silence in church yesterday. I wouldn't be here today writing this if it wasn't for the many people who lost their lives so many years ago.

  7. Thanks Debra, very nice tribute. We need to remember those that are gone and those that remain. Those that remain need to be cared for too, something often overlooked in the US.

They shall live on, for as long as we take possession and exercise they rights they fought so hard for us to have...

  11. With respectful silence, I remember those who served, never to return. Those who continue to serve, may they return.
