That familiar chill is in the air . . . glorious autumn colours surround us . . . and it's time for hot chocolate again! The Wheel of the Year is coming around once more to its Samhain endpoint.
Strange pumpkin creatures begin to appear and take up residence among us. They watch and wait for what will come.
The Maiden and the Mother have come and gone, their annual sojourn complete. The sacred time of the Crone is at hand.
Welcome Her!
i just wish this time of year could last longer. it seems to just fy by!
ReplyDeleteI love Autumn, it's my favorite season. The perfect temperature, the colors--like you said--and pumpkin all the things! It's glorious. Glad to have a fellow believer in the greatness of Autumn. Also, I learned what Samhain is, so that makes this post a winner.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing I don't like about Autumn, and I must say, October is one of my favorite months of the year.

ReplyDeleteI like this time of year, the change of the season with the beautiful colors in nature. In our country (Belgium) it is still warm outside at the moment, but I wouldn't mind a good sunny cold day to take a walk with a warm coat on :-). The bear with honey is very original :-).
