One of the
very first blog posts I ever wrote concerned my ambition to be a Crazy Cat Lady some day. Alas, I am not any closer to achieving that ambition now, seven years later. If anything, I'm further away as I no longer even have
one cat since Her Royal Highness departed for Kitty Cat Heaven.
But a girl's gotta dream. One day, this will be me --
So, anybody got any spare cats?
bwhahahahahahaha! the last pix is spot on!
ReplyDeleteThat's my neighbor across the street. BWAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAAAA!
ReplyDeleteYou're my first blog of the morning and I love this post. So funny. From the boyfriend to be treated like gods.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff.
I'm sure that cat LOVES the friendship bracelet. Now pardon me as I have to shed a tear for Heather (the lady excited about visiting her cats and her sister's cats and not a therapist).
ReplyDeleteI think I am already there. I have three right now, also four birds and 8 fishes. Crazy check cat check lady check!
ReplyDeletethe first one looks like one of them lovely Russian babushkas! Slavic grace in one picture :)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! May all your dreams come true.....
ReplyDelete**ppssttt....Xmas is coming. Perhaps a letter to Santa would be a good place to start. :o) **
The 1st one... Hahah, funny! xD
ReplyDeleteBut, you & me both! I adore cats so, I'm already there.
Haha! I love the crazy cat lady who made matchingt friendship bracelets!
ReplyDeleteLove this!! Having 4 of my own, I can totally relate. I do want more...
ReplyDeleteHalf in , Half out....they have it all! I like the old women salute! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the "decal" on the car ... too funny! Good stuff.
ReplyDeletePurrs .....
That's not a REAL picture of you from the future. That woman isn't wearing purple gloves.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking about getting a cat. But then I think about how much I don't want to clean up after anyone but myself. I've decided to get a chia pet instead.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "friendship bracelets".
ReplyDeleteI think so many cats would drive me crazy.
ReplyDeleteIf my wife wasn't deathly allergic, we'd be those people you see on TV having dozens of animals removed from their home and then the house being bulldozed because it will never again be fit for human habitation.
ReplyDeletethe last two are hilarious.. :)
ReplyDeleteI can send TK to you...he's purple and has balls..
ReplyDeleteThat's my ambition for old age as well!
ReplyDeleteDid you say someday??? That last one!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yes, that will be you, Debra....if you want it.
ReplyDeleteIt's never too late!! Don't give up your hopes and dreams! Lol
ReplyDeleteYou can turn your life around in no time - so many cats, so few homes.
ReplyDeleteYou feed, shelter, love dogs, and they look at their owners and think “they are God”. You feed, shelter, love cats, and they look at their owners and think “I am God”
ReplyDeleteI am down to nine of the little furballs. I will show them this post. They will like it.
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHA! I love this. Because it's about cats. And because it's hilarious. Hilarious cat humour is the best.
ReplyDeleteI'm a crazy cat person too!
ReplyDeleteI also want to be a crazy old cat lady.
ReplyDeleteCrazy - check
Old - Almost
Cats - I am getting at least one more in the spring.
Lady - Fuck. Not even close.
My neighborhood is full of feral cats. I'm already a crazy dog lady.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
That's the good thing about dogs, you can be happy with one. Never heard of the crazy dog man
ReplyDeleteEven I have ambitions of being a crazy cat lady. Well, the male equivalent. But "Crazy cat man" just sounds so bad. Plus that was a character from Fairly Odd Parents.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture cracked me the hell up! Thanks for the chuckle, Debra! Happy Momsgiving!
ReplyDeleteAll those cats walking down a path reminds me of that wonderful children's book, "Millions and Millions of Cats". I wonder if it is still in print. A charming story and cool illustrations. They were either wood cuts or reminded me of wood cuts if I remember correctly.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!! Especially the first one..Have a fun day..
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Yep, I'm a Crazy Cat Lady too, and a Crazy Doll Lady, maybe I'm just crazy! And I agree with Jeanne! A kitten in your Christmas stocking, wouldn't that be great?! ;-D
ReplyDeletehahaha great pictures :D:D
ReplyDeleteWould you like to follow each other? I always follow back:)
kisses

My wife and I were dog people until we got our first cat. We were teachers in Alaska and had been assigned into an Athabaskan village that had no teacher housing. There was an old derelict log cabin, sixteen feet by sixteen feet, outside the village. We rebuilt it over the summer, but because it had been the home of wild vermin up till then, we went into Fairbanks and adopted a two year old Maine Coon cat. We fell in love and that was the beginning of our cat odyssey
ReplyDeletethe Ol'Buzzard.
Hi human and crazy cat lady, Debra,
ReplyDeleteI hope I manage to recover from reading and staring at the pictures on your pawst!
Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses,
Penny xx
I'm not a cat lady. However, if I found a man who enjoys taking over cat litter duties, I'd...hand him some plastic bags and say "Go wild, dude."
ReplyDeleteCheers for a lovely weekend.
Lol! Cats rule! (And they totally know that, so don't try to tell them otherwise.) I also have the ambition to become a crazy cat lady. I kinda might be one already.
ReplyDeleteI am so there. I keep saying "no more" and "never again" and they keep finding me! Stay strong, sister.
ReplyDeleteI have not been around much, but was so sorry to hear that Her Royal Highness is no longer with us...
ReplyDeleteGet / adopt a new cat!
ReplyDeleteYou don't know what you are missing :)
(I think you do)
At least there's a crazy çat woman who feeds the homeless...cats.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the friendship bracelets! And, I want the sticker for my car!
