  4. I love all of these! Many... decades ago, a Wiccan coworker of mine gifted me a beautiful Hanson-Roberts Tarot deck in a luxurious blue silk pouch. I would bring them out every now and then, but I have not done a reading in years! You know... today is a good day.

  16. Went out for Chinese last night and my fortune cookie was empty. I’m illiterate at fortune telling. Does that mean anything?

    1. @ Frank -- I would interpret it to mean that the Universe is inviting you to write your own destiny -- the future is unwritten and you hold the pen! So it's a sign of good luck and limitless potential. Go for your heart's desire!

  18. My favs are The Coffee and the Ace of Wines. I wondered what the rest of the Cat card were? Inquiring minds, ya know.

  19. Maybe it's time for me to buy some cards. They are probably more accurate than what our government leaders are telling us right now.

  23. Codex: You can read them? Would you accept a challenge?

    1. @ Codex -- Yes, I do read tarot and I might accept a challenge, depending on what it is.

    2. Codex: A remote reading? I'll explain why afterwards

      Delete
  24. @ Codex -- Yes, I can do a remote reading for you, although I caution you that they are not as accurate as a personal reading where the querent shuffles the cards themselves. I would need to know your email address and the issue which you want the reading to explore. Please leave me another comment with that information -- I moderate my comments, as you know, and I will not publish it, but thereafter we can communicate privately via email.

  25. I have a friend who loves tarot cards. We bought her one deck in Montreal, apparently one cannot buy them for themselves, they have to receive tarot cards as a present. I also bought her a bag with tarot cards on.

  26. Codex: Thank you. I'd prefer to email directly. It's not on your site?
A reading without specific questions is not possible?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. @ Codex -- Oh yes, a tarot reading without a specific question is possible. The issue would then be a general open-ended one, such as: "what should I be aware of in my life within the next month or so?"

No, my email address is not public. That's why it's not on my blog or my profile. That's for my safety and security while blogging on a public platform. If we are to correspond privately, you need to leave me a comment (which I will not publish) with your email address and then I will contact you.

  30. I DEFINITELY want the Tarot Cards Against Humanity set...

  31. @ Codex -- Then I leave it in your hands.

  32. OK, these are hilarious! I've done a lot of tarot readings for friends and I could have wished for some of these cards!
I was in a hippie store the other day (metaphysical supply store?) and the staggering number of options for tarot decks took my breath away! And, that's not counting all of the other oracle and ritual cards. It's an industry.

  33. Canada! 😂😂😂 These are awesome, Debra!
