I'm sure you all remember my gnome
FEARSOME THE FIERCE
Official Guardian of the
Big Basket of Cushions.
And I'm sure you also all remember
TEERLINCK THE TENACIOUS
Official Advisor Concerning
All Puzzles, Games and Mysteries.
Well, unbeknownst to anyone,
it turns out that Teerlinck
has a younger brother named
HENGIST THE HAIRY.
Hengist unexpectedly showed up
at my door last week and has
taken quite a shine to Fearsome.
QUITE A SHINE INDEED!
Now they're snuggled up together
in the big basket of cushions,
where Hengist has been appointed
Official Guardian of the
Portable AM/FM Radio
(which, curiously enough, only gets
good reception in that exact spot.)
I got the title for today's post
from this adorable tote bag
just sent to me by blogging buddy
Shirley of BootsandBraids.
Thanks, Shirley! You rock!

You are very welcome. Glad you got to enjoy it before the Holiday ended. Such a long journey to get to you, I was beginning to think might not make it until next Christmas :-)
ReplyDeleteToo funny. Yes why not a seasonal gnome for Christmas movie? Or radio play.
ReplyDeleteI am happy for the boys to have found each other. Their new condo should be a blast.
ReplyDeleteThere is no place like Gnome for the holidays. How cute
ReplyDeleteTwo things:
ReplyDeleteThat cat eye pillow is the best.
And that Hallmark meme is spot on!
Gnomes are popping up everywhere - you have started quite a trend my friend.
ReplyDeleteI knew I’d love this post when I saw the title. An adorable couple. I wish them many years of happiness in the big basket of cushions. The tote bag is classy!
ReplyDeleteThese are all amazing and I am not a Gnomey person. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I usually avoid hallmark movies
ReplyDeleteThey make an adorable couple!!
ReplyDeleteOMG
ReplyDeleteNow I want some gnomes for xmas! Soooooo adorable!
Can't take it.
XOXO
Pfft, Hallmark is gnomist too, those idiots.
ReplyDeleteI love these cuties and I'm glad they found love in each other.
Hello Debra, Your gnomes are two boys who just might manage to reproduce in the next year. Keep us informed on any "happy events."
ReplyDelete--Jim
They do make a cute couple... hope you don't hear the pitter patter of tiny gnome feet in 9 months! The tote bag is uber cute too...
ReplyDeleteI don't think the Hallmark Channel would accept the gnomes. I know their noses are white but there is just not enough white showing to prove their whiteness.
ReplyDeleteYou're going to need more porridge. Don't forget the butter, or your hirsute companions might commit felonies.
ReplyDeleteHave to say, I have never seen a Hallmark Christmas movie. Love your little Gnomes.
ReplyDeleteHengist is a handsome little guy. How wonderful that these 2 bonded right away. May they live a long, beautiful love story.
ReplyDelete@ Old Lurker -- My gnomes get porridge with generous butter pats EVERY DAY! That should keep me safe, hopefully.
ReplyDeleteHope you had gnome of great day.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Wait until they get behind closed doors and take off those caps. The imagination reels!
ReplyDeleteYour Gnomes make a very cute couple! And Gnomes seem to be taking over every holiday lately so there ya go! Done with Hallmark after watching for a few years, cause everything you said is TRUE!
ReplyDeleteahh, they were made for each other. I love your tote bag.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute gnomes! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI do love those gnomes!
ReplyDeleteI like your gnomes! Good protection at your house.
ReplyDeleteAhh, so glad that you received such a cute tote bag. Your gnomes are cute.
ReplyDeleteI have one for Halloween. I guess I need a gnome for Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteOr did you mean to write 'unbegnomest'? (I'll get my coat...)
ReplyDeleteI got out mine - but mine are Nisse
ReplyDeleteLars, Sven, and Irving.
I've ben fighting through some things and so I'm here to apologize for not visiting more regularly. I always adore looking at pics of gnomes, and we thank you. The Hallmark Channel is beginning to evolve when it comes to their Christmas movies, but it will take some time. Unlike watching Christmas movies on the Lifetime Channel or Netflix. I watch these every year, and it's interesting to see the changes. Here's hoping to lots more. Sending you lots of hugs and wishing you a very Merry Christmas! RO
ReplyDelete@ Bea -- Good one, GROAN!
ReplyDeletei liked the guys dear Debra :)
ReplyDeletei liked the way you set the location and shared ,they look cool .
health ,peace and joy to both of you and to all you love!
Those gnomes are adorable.
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute and what an adorable couple! The meme about Hallmark is pretty accurate although, they are starting to branch out with people of color. It might take another decade to get on board with LGBTQ!!
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletewe just got our first Gnomes: Eric and Lars. It is hard to type with a cat in my lap.
the Ol'Buzzard
Great looking gnomes. Who does their hair?
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see love bloom! I'm delighted that Hengist has an important job to do. Those portable radios can be quite tricksy.
ReplyDeleteYes, the best is a good friend ... well, next to the family :-)))
ReplyDeleteYour gnomes are so cute and great helpers in all situations :-)
Be hugged by Viola
Aw! I'd watch that Christmas romance! (LOL, you'd have to bribe me with good tea and Rifftrax to watch any others).
ReplyDeleteGood job Shirley. I love gnomes. I keep meaning to make them with the Grand Girls but there never seems to be time after we hit that slew of holidays starting in October. I need to start during summer vacation and then put them away for Christmas. Then they will be like opening a surprise at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI love this so much.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smiles Deb! So cute!!! Love the tote bag!!! I hope the boys will be forever happy!!! Big Hugs!
