A Wonderful Surprise Gift

Blogging buddy Lady M of Lady M's Haunted Parlor
is a talented stained glass artist. She recently sent me
this gorgeous Pride Flag which she handcrafted!

I just love it!

Look how the light shines through its marvelous colours!

Here it is, hanging on my balcony window --

And another great photo of it, which Lady M took
at her home before mailing the flag to Canada --

Thank you, Lady M, for your
thoughtfulness, artistry and generosity!

I am honoured that you would make
such a beautiful emblem of Pride for me!

  8. Never let it be said that diving through Internet dumpsters for memes doesn't pay off. Lots of us appreciate who you are and what you do, even if we do not express those feelings in stained glass.

  24. Lovely!

I am not familiar with the triangle and its colors on the left. When were they added and what are they?

  25. Wow, very nice! I love stained glass and the way it filters light through it. I've always wanted a house with a grand staircase that had a massive stained glass window at the head of the landing!

  28. Dear Ur-Spo, just the other day, we were doing our usual gay things and talking about our parents and how hard life must have been for them and the sacrifices they made for us.
We talked about how we wished we could talk with them, as young people.
Me, I welcome the new design of the flag. I do not understand the meanings of the new colors, completely. But that's OK. It is a "work in progress ".

  30. On the forth photo my reply to him would be, Oh well Trump got arrest and I don't give two hoots about your beer.
I have five beers of Corona beer, we're slow beer drinkers here.

  31. Thats gorgeous. I am not gay ( or political really either) but would definetely use that flag in my window regardless. Love the rainbows. I find so many people will now not use them in case they are thought to be "gay". How sad is that really! Or am I missing something here? Can we not all enjoy a rainbow these days?
