Great stuff. If I pay attention fully to it, I have more than enough.

Gratitude is appropriate any time of year!

(I have always thought that American Thanksgiving is too late in the year. It's a harvest festival, and by late November the crops should be in. I much prefer Canada's October timeline.)

Canadian was last month, American is now, I can't wait for Mexican Thanksgiving in December

Yay. Beautiful. Thank you, Debra.

PS Is it just me, or is "fulfilment" not fully spelled to my satisfaction?

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Rawknrobyn -- You're right, the word looks odd to you because the American spelling would be "fulfillment" with a double l. "Fulfilment" is the British spelling according to the Oxford dictionary.

Thoughts for all days.... when all days are days of thanks.

Enough is a feast. Truer words were never spoken. Knowing when is enough is the pinnacle of wisdom. I am still getting there.

'Enough is as good as a feast' is what we always heard as children.
I seem to remember us all being unconvinced at the time .
Your posters are much more sympathetic and we're all older now.

O, Debra ... you now know that am elderish ,,, but 'Gratitude' ..
sounds very like "kissing the Ring of a Roman Church Cardinal".

Gratitude? No way.

I was born, survived thus far. Have no serious "gratitude" to any Church, God; or parent.

Am simply a 'me'. Cope or discard.

But what happens when enough is too much? I've had enough of Donald Trump, I don't feel grateful about him.

Debra She Who Seeks said...

@ Guillaume -- You make an excellent point.

I'm grateful that I had family/friends to fill the day enough that I forgot about social media and the internet in general for awhile.
I do like the "enough is a feast" proverb.
