One day future generations will look back at us and think... "wow.. they are just like us, we're going out and having a party and dying by the thousands just like our ancestors did in 2020"!
A couple of years ago I did a series of posts about Star Trek, and was curious as to what it said in Samuel Pepys diary (all of which can be found online) 300 years from the day Trek first aired in the United States (it had actually aired in Canada about a week earlier.) It was the Great Fire of London, of which Pepys and his famous diary emerged from unscathed.

Great collection, stay safe, remember 1665.
Love that quote from 1655 - yes a drink is a poor exchange for 4 weeks in the hospital.
I do have a list if anyone knows how to contact a murder hornet.
HRH asked you to post that next to last one, didn't she?
@ anne marie in philly -- Yes, yes she did.
The poor climate scientists!
The Tower of Pisa one was clever. I don't think I have ever heard it called Pisa Tower before.

enjoyable bit of "realivent" humor...
had read that 1665 quote ...
I think they’ve nailed it with cats!
So many good ones! Godzilla, murder hornets with an agenda, and history!
Samuel Pepys knew what was up.
That last one is so telling of today. Oh, and I'm stealing the cat meme.
My favorite was the one about the Roadrunner.

Not just lols but a couple of loud guffaws in there too! So many are all too true...
The X on the floor! Beep beep!!
Wonder if ACME is making face masks?
I was always annoyed by Roadrunner cartoons. But this roadrunner meme is gold.
Keep smiling, Debra.
Hahahahaha the Pilot Car one is quite accurate!
Also, that kitty is my spirit animal. For real.
XoXo
And so the world turns...
The Roadrunner one made me laugh loud enough for the dogs to come check on me...
That nasal test looks really uncomfortable. I'd much rather have it go up the back door
They say it's a nasal swab. So watch out when they drop a pen and ask you to pick it up.
We are should some of us our doing the best we can
Pepys FTW
I love the selection today. Especially the one about the taverns.
The cat is certainly true to form. Some good ones.
YIKES! COVID testing in the rear is a little scary!(lol) But they're all neat and funny! Air Hugs, RO
:) love, cat.
Oh my gosh...too many funnies. But I lol'd at the Testing In the Rear. :)
So many laughs thank you!!!
A Wackadoodle world for sure..Thanks for the humor the AM..I needed that..HAve a good week..
Haha, love the cat meme, and they would if they could!
Murder hornets as assassins for hire -- LOL!
I wouldn't be surprised if Godzilla did show up... didn't the Great Fire of London happen in 1666?
@ Tundra Bunny -- Yes, those poor bastards got hit with a double whammy. First the Great Plague and then the Great Fire right after.
All very funny ones.
HAHAHAHA! These were hilarious. Loved the one about the Pisa Tower and the line up for robbing the bank!
Is that Gucci mask genuine?! Gee. And I believe what that cat says.
And another exceptional selection. The Great Plague of 1665?!? Now THAT is truly frightening.
I miss the Road Runner.
the Ol'Buzzard
Funny and some oh so true.

Another funny collection. But the Pepys one was a jaw dropper. That was awesome!
