I think those doughnuts are a product of the far right. No one could survive eating that much artificial coloring. On the plus side, that drip try looks like the work of a gay Jackson Pollack. --Jim
I haven't had in doughnut in ...a real long time, but I'd love one of those. (P.S. English grammar nut here: whenever I see "your" instead of "you're" or "then" instead of "than" I cringe and the meme or comment is ruined. Just a personal quirk.)
Kids with Aspergers have some of the same problems. Ask our grandson. He's nearly 18 and has been through a lot, esp. bullying. The trouble is he doesn't "look" autistic--so things get weird when he fails to pick up on social cues. He understands some of the stuff that LGBTQ kids have to put up with.
I'll never think about Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon in the same way again. And they thought they were being controversial by using the word 'pink'.
Debra, do you know who's that woman asking about a gay vibe in the GIF halfway thru above? I think it might be a friend/mentor of mine, comedienne, Alicia Dattner, so I ask. She's awesome and very much an ally of all good things and people.
@ Rawknrobyn -- No, unfortunately I don't know who the woman in the gay vibe gif is but I just assumed the clip is from some movie or TV show. Does anyone out there in Comments Land recognize where this is from or who the actress is?
The clip appears to be from the television show Brooklyn Nine-Nine. According to the this quotes page from the pilot it is uttered by character Gina Linetti, played by Chelsea Peretti. I was not able to find the clip on Youtube, but other clips of the Gina character serve as circumstantial evidence.
The woman in the GIF is stand up comic/actor Chelsea Peretti, one of the funniest comics out there. I'm pretty sure the GIF is from her t.v. show Brooklyn 99.
@ This N That -- Today's standard rainbow pride flag has 6 colours: Red (representing Life), Orange (representing healing), Yellow (representing sunlight, i.e., we're not hiding in the shadows or darkness anymore), Green (representing nature), Blue (representing serenity) and Purple (representing spirit). But there are also many other special flags to represent each component community that makes up the LGBTQ+ community (for example, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender, etc.), as well as special flags for sub-cultures or groups within the various communities (for example, Bears, Lipstick Lesbians, BDSM, etc.) The multiplicity of flags grows every year, it seems!
I am afraid of my Darling Youngest finding out about the existence of those doughnuts because them would likely make a big mess eating them. Can I get them to listen to Pink Floyd instead?
Hello Frank. Then and than are homophones. Sorry, it is a sad joke for sad times. But the Which in Dictionopolis allowed it to go by. Probably she is busy these days. I don't think she ever got over Rhyme and Reason being held hostage.
Thanks for the colors explanation..very interesting...I sure won't remember all that so I won't ever try to draw or demonstrate a gay pride flag or anything with the colors..I would totally screw it up..LOL Playing catchup...for some reason, I have missed the last few posts...

I like the "I don't try to hide my weird" the best. but it's not weird to be gay, it's just you being you.
You know, sometimes those free trials DO work out.

I think the woman in the gay vibe gif is a current cast member of Saturday Night Live...
Dark Side of the Moon just takes a whole new meaning.
Excellent, as ever.
