I love bears!!!!! I would love to pet one one day. A trained one!
This also has me missing my Bears friends that I met in Bucks County when I walked Buster in the park. They were so cool and had me for dinner several times. Well.... had me in for dinner I meant!!!
When we lived in densely populated Connecticut we had regular bear visits and apparently they are becoming even more common, hibernating under decks and porches. Since moving to NM the only bear we've heard about was several years ago when one got into the women's rest room at the golf course early in the morning and couldn't get out (the door swings inward). Scared the maintenance worker pretty good.
I made the mistake (on my honeymoon mind you) of getting between a mama bear and her cubs and ended up stranded in a tree till they found a forest ranger to come run her off..
I've been seeing quite a few stories about bears hibernating under people's houses. They report hearing a humming or snoring sound. Just this morning I watched a video a man made. He sits on his porch and bears come up to visit. He stays where he is and they don't bother him. I think I would be too afraid to move.
I noticed the overweight bear has a tag on his ear. He shouldn't be hard to track at all. How far could that guy get in a day? Where is he today? He made it to the neighbor's house.
I've had the privilege of seeing bears in the wild several times. From quite a distance, mind you, I'm no fool. My ex worked at the zoo for a while and she took a picture of a bear's paw when he was standing with his paws on the gate of the enclosure. Truly terrifying! Even just a paw was enough of a warning.
That toilet paper bear must be related to the one I saw running down a street with a white toilet seat around his neck! Bears seem to LOVE outhouses....
Don't bother me. I am in my den. I know you love us, so go dig up a groundhog or a marmot or something to tide you over. You can call it Punxsatawney Phyllis. Leave us alone, for once. We are hibernating. We will see you in the Spring, when the Skunk Cabbage begins to bloom.
That little polar bear is so cute. That poor tagged bear must be headed for a winter den We have black bears in Saskatchewan. They are pretty much not dangerous if you don't do stupid things. Brown bears such as grizzlies are different and can be very dangerous.

We have black bears. In spring they're around -- 250 lb babies!
I have seen bears in the wild a few times, fascinating and thrilling. And best done at a distance. The world needs more bears.
That is one fat bear! We were at Johnston Canyon once and saw the fattest chipmunk I've ever seen in my life. Lots of people snacks I'm guessing.
Hello Debra, These are great! How did you know that I collect bears? Now all of these are added to my collection!

I love that last one. And the first. And several in the middle. But, especially that last one.

I love bears. But you didn't speak of berserkers .
I think the cute polar bear cub was Knut.
Lolz, especially that last one. I'd be that bear.

Polar bears are my definite favorite 🐻❄️
I'll have you know that putting on weight for the winter is an important life skill for bears. They even have beauty pageants for such.
The little bear is so cute and adorable except when they are fully grown
HAHA. These are priceless. I love this beary much.
Cheers and hugs.

The Bear facts!
I can feel for the last one....
I forgot what to say. Must be bed time.
Bears are fantastic and even as spirit animals.
Coffee is on and stay safe
No bears where I live, just deer sprinting across the parkway as I drive. Now, THAT's nerve-wracking!
That baby bear is just too cute. The only bears in Australia are in the zoos.
Bears really are part of our Canadian experience.
I know who did that caption. Genius that is.
I do love bears and these are very cute.
The coffee bear is often me late at night, trying to get rid of the coffee remnants three hours later.
We regularly have bears in our neighborhood - we have to be bear aware here in Colorado.

Baby bears are so stinking cute, you know before they know to KILL and EAT us.
The last one with the coffee is me if I have caffeine after 2pm.
Hahaha the beard's deal in second sounds witty
All made me laugh the roll me particularly haha
Thanks for making my day dear friend. Hugs to you
I am very fond of bears. Do not feed them buns and things.
Uhm - possible the breakfast sandwich would not be enough!
Oh so funny. I can really relate to that last one!
So funny. Thanks for the giggles
The struggle of the last bear was too relatable! :D
