FUN FACT: The Oscar Mayer vehicle used to be called the "Wienermobile" and was driven by special drivers called "Hot Doggers." As of May 2023, it's now called the "Frankmobile" and is driven by "Frankfurters."
Volkswagenitalia is probably the best but I loved the viagra prescription one too. I used to tell my daughter, when a big, stupid truck like that drove by, that the guy probably had a teeny, tiny penis:) Worked, she's going to marry a smart tech guy.
So now I've got that theme stuck my head ... Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener, That is what I'd truly like to be-ee-ee. 'Cause if I were an Oscar Mayer Wiener, everyone would be in love with me.
All good ones. Often people will use a hyphen to avoid unfortunate combinations of letters in email addresses and other online handles. Or they will misspell it. But some don't unfortunately.
The Batman meme reminded me that in Justice League of America comics of my youth (where all the DC superheroes fought villainy together) Superman had to literally give the Dark Knight a lift, since there's no way the Batmobile could catch up with everybody (especially seeing as a lot of JLA adventures took place on other planets!)
Hilarious, Debra! I can relate to every one, although it took me a minute to get the volkswagenitalia. I was up way too late visiting IWSG blogs, so I'm slow this morning. My new tactic is to visit around and then reply to comments on mine. I hope that you are enjoying a good week.
I actually saw the WienerMobile. It exists! It drove right through my town! That was years and years ago. I looked at the crew and they looked like they were having fun going around in their WienerMobile. It was a small miracle. Life goes on, I will probably never see that again, but it is a good memory.
Lots of WienerMobile comments but none like mine. I thought the joke was the back end of the WienerMobile getting bigger as more gas was pumped in. Then I saw the pumps!

Our roads are pot hole treacherous this time of year. It is so easy to damage a vehicle!
I remember the wiener mobile in Madison Wisconsin, also all the jokes about the name.
