Hello Debra, My grandmother had an operation for breast cancer and lived for over fifty more years (to age 101). Treating breast cancer promptly can have positive and impressive results. --Jim
Now that I’m old I get a free breast exam every two years for free. They even send out notification letters. It used to start at age fifty but they now have dropped it to 45.

Give the girls a good feel, live a little longer.
...yep, check your pumpkins!!!
No lumpkins in my pumpkins :-)
Thanks for sharing. I had a mammogram in March.
Mine are less like ripe pumpkins and more like 6 month old pumpkins that have gone somewhat saggy and deflated.
@ Lady M -- Oh, I hear ya, sistah. Ditto!
The law now requires the mammo center to notify you of your breast composition, very reassuring, to cystic ladies like me. Yes, do check.
I like the pumpkins one! My SIL just got a breast cancer ribbon tattoo.

@ Mistress Maddie -- Very cool!
Absolutely. We don't want lumpkins in our pumpkins.
A male cousin of mine had breast cancer. It was caught in time.
Men can get it too.
Will do!

Two great ways to get the message across.
Such an important reminder! I just had a mammogram over the summer.
I have a yearly mammogram.
Not sure why October is the chosen month for this but all awareness is good!
