Hi everyone --
I'm off to visit my sister and then when I get back,
I will be having my cataracts surgery. So I will not
be blogging for the month of September at a minimum.
I don't know yet how great a limitation on screen time
I'll have to observe during my recovery period of
October and November. So blogging may be
sporadic and/or non-existent during those months too.
But regular blogging will resume when I am able!

Good luck with the cataract surgery. I’ve had it & it was quite easily. Don’t look in the mirror right after because there’ll be all kinds of new wrinkles and avoid looking into corners in the house because all those dusty cobwebs you missed are just waiting!
Cataract surgery is a walk in the park ... unless the doctor totally screws up! Recovery time is minimal and the eyedrops go on for about a month! You'll do just fine ... have a great sister visit!
Enjoy the visit with your sister. The worse part of eye surgery are those damn drops for days before, I drove to the store next day.
Enjoy your visit, and I hope for an uneventful surgery and a fast recovery. Maybe you'll be able to resume recorder playing as well as blogging.

I underwent cataract eye surgery on December 1, 2022, at Kimia Farma Pontianak, one of the eye hospitals in my city in Indonesia. I am truly grateful to God that the surgery on my left eye was successful. I plan to share this experience in my article later, and thank you for giving me the idea.Thinking back, I remember the whole experience clearly.

My cataract surgeries had minimal recovery time. I saw fine within hours and didn't have to use any eye drops at all. But enjoy your time off.

My eye doctor is trying to get me to do cataract surgery also. As long as I can see the computer screen I'm putting it off.
