Monday Murals -- "Fun Keeps You Young"

I'm taking part today in
Monday Murals hosted by Sami.

This colourful community mural is painted
on a wall in the main lobby of the
North Edmonton Seniors Association (NESA),
one of the places I go to attend art lessons
and other classes/activities for seniors.

This mural forms the basis for NESA's logo --

There are half a dozen seniors recreation centres in
various Edmonton neighbourhoods, designed to promote
health, wellness, community, and fun activities
for our city's diverse populations as we age.

We don't stop having fun because we get old, we get old when we stop having fun.

Lovely mural and a great community project. We also have a lot of fun activities aimed at the older residents. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Debra.

That is absolutely the truth. Fun does very much keep us young. Another good reason to allow ourselves to have as much of it as possible!

A lovely mural. It’s nice cities are now catering to the older generations
Once people retire they seem to withdraw and go days or weeks without any human interaction. This has definitely helped combat elder loneliness

My heart wishes to join such group and activities thoroughly but we have nothing like this here in small city ☹️😞
