Today in 44 BCE, Julius Caesar was pretty grumpy and quite rightly so.
To mark Caesar's assassination, you can do your very own re-enactment at home!
It's kind of labour intensive though.
Screw history, Apple knows how to make ancient dates relevant for today's consumers --
Watch your back today, eh?

I ♡ Caesar's salad, but prefer to eat it than stab it
first, I gotta find something/someone to stab...
Beware the ides of March. you know I never really linked it to Caesar - duh lol! thanks Debra!
lol at the Grumpy!
Good thing we are unable to leave the house today due to our 8th snow storm!!
Safer inside.
Hahaha...the Caesar's assassination pic got me! And, of course, Grumpy Cat. Love that feline.
Ah yes... those Ipads of March are the worst...... they'll get you every time.
Yep, the Ides of March. Nuf sed.
Love it! Grumpy cat always cracks me up with that special face.
Stabby. Such a good word.
The Ceasar dressing and Julius Cat-czar are hilarious! What a great weekend, yesterday was National Pi Day and THEE day of the century, b/c:
3/14/15
In Chicago they decided to dye the Chicago River green at the exact moment of the first digits of Pi,
on 3/14/15 at 9:26 and 53 seconds, or whatever it was exactly (I'm not actually nerdy enough to have the whole thing memorized, but you get the concept!)
I want that Caesar salad... extra sharp stabbing knife, please.
I haven't moved from my chair 'cause I don't trust anyone!!
I suspect he had a splitting headache as well.
They really need to have a blog award for this shi(tt)!!!
I'll take the salad please, hold the knife.
Lol! I have some dressing in the fridge I can stab!
Oh how could I forget? Of course it is the Ides of March!
The Creamy Ceasar is my favorite here, but I'm really more of a Bleu Cheese kind of person. This should really be a holiday, especially this year with Friday the Thirteenth, Pi Day, and the Ides all coming together. Maybe I should have bought a lottery ticket or something. Do good things come in threes or bad things? I don't remember.
I think he'd be more grumpy that his name is now apart of a really terrible line of pizza
Does Billy Shakes ever explain what "ides" means...I asked on my internet device.
I forgot the Ides of March, Drat!! Grumpy Cat is perfect.
yo, Adrian..beware the ides of march
I'd like to add that the bottle of Caesar with the knife was my favorite. Now I can sleep better :)
Haha! I am so eating a ceasar's salad for lunch!
Have a blessed week!
Thanks for the link! The video was cool. Kinda creepy seeing all that honey dripping off of the people but fascinating at the same time.
I laughed out loud at the poor, stabbed bottle of dressing. Though I don't feel too sorry for it, because it's only saving another salad from being made (the world doesn't need that).
I'll drink to that.
the Ol'Buzzard
A little creepy..What does "stabby" feel like??
I'm ever amused by your wit.
Will watch my back to preempt salad dressing spillage.
Ruining an entire bottle of salad dressing - I admire that level of commitment to a joke!
To this day I have no idea what "Ides" are :P
