Hi Debra, That comment seemed bizarre, but after listening to the clip, it turned out to be a pretty fair transcription. However, I think it works better as the soundtrack to a movie than as a solo piece. After the third "yayayayaya" I couldn't hit that pause button fast enough. --Jim
TCM is running a great documentary, "Ennio", about him and how he became the legend. It was really well done! If you can find it; here's the IMDb link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3031654/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_1
GREAT! Wolololol WAW WAW WAW 😅😂 And that crazy cat 😺 Wonderful musical performance! I have a catchy tune for today... Love from Austria, Traude 🌿 https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2025/08/mit-dem-enkel-durchs-waldviertel-und-in.html
Great post! The question was well written and most people could interpret the tune, I'll bet. I loved seeing the orchestra play it. The whistler, Waw Waw singer should have gotten special credit like the soprano did, imo. I feel like that kitty might need eye drops...
I have had the whole soundtrack album since I was a teenager. Ennio Morricone was a phenomenal composer, and the soundtrack for the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is inevitable of his best.

Whew! Seeing the head line post title, I worried I may come here to find the campfire scene from Blazing Saddles. Knowing your humor Debs. LOL!
Brilliant!
@ Mistress Maddie -- Hey, I can be COUTH sometimes!
Hahahaha
OMG iconic.
XOXO
And here I am bumbumbuming along to the music.
I have the same reaction as the cat to that, um, tune.
Codex: can't believe she kept a straight face during her wawawa.
I knew exactly what song they meant. I was impressed with the singer's whistling!
That someone was able to figure out a song title based on that question is amazing!
Very good. Have a nice day today.
I love that gif. I had to steal it. Just in case.
Too bad they cut the cat from that scene! Danish National Symphony is SOOOOOO good!

@ Rade -- Thanks for the link and the heads-up!
🤣 That questioner was pretty damned good at putting music into "words." Kudos! 👏 Now, try adult films and "chika chika dow dow!" 🤭
GREAT!

Wow. The Danish video of The Good... was magnificent. Had to share it.

That cat looks too shifty and trigger-happy for my liking, LOL!
I've always liked the Clint Eastwood movies.
Hilarious! I would never get that -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
Thanks for the earworm.
Excellent!
The expression is so funny
Yes the cat steals the scene. But that performance by the Danes was absolutely delicious. Thankyouthankyouthankyou! WaWaWa.
My money is on the cat! Ha! Great GIF! And the music is awesome.
I know that piece! Love it.
Oh, yes, love that theme. The composer died just a few years ago.

Sometimes I will whistle this when my toddler grandchildren are angry and staring at each other, haha.
