@ Pixie -- No, I've never seen or heard it! Guess I've never been in the right place at the right time. Just as well -- I would find it distressing, I think.
@ Parnassus (Jim) -- We see wild hares all winter here. In the summer they're brown, in the winter they're white to provide camouglage against the snow.
Central Tucson is full of them. ( and quail families in the spring, the odd coyote or two, and I nearly got brained one morning by a hawk chasing a fleeing bunny...it flew by right in front of my face. The bunny managed to get under a bush.)
Awww, thanks for the shout out, Sporticus! I know you can't openly dedicate this to me because HRH would throw a jealous hissy fit... but I will always be the girl who talks to animals, LIVE ones, that is!
The photos of the bunnies limned in light are striking, Debra! And the bunnies are darling. I've always danced to my own drum, and now that I'm older, nobody cares for sure ~ lol! Happy Friday!
Oh, that bonny wee bunny at the top! I love all these, maybe the bun and moon best. We had a bunny living in our shared yard space before my perfect neighbors moved. Now the fence is closed up and the new neighbors have nervy dog and I haven't seen the cottontail since. I didn't mind that they ate all, literally all, of the peas from my garden. Worth it!
I love bunnies! I had two dwarf rabbits when I lived down South - they produced enough fertilize to keep my roses happy all season long! Kept them in an elevated hutch / pen in the back yard because for as much as I LOVE them, I am extremely allergic. Living here in RI, we get wild rabbits that visit the yard on occasion; I will ruminate on them when they appear.
Oh I absolutely love this 😘🥰♥️ The bunnies are so cute creatures and very harmless and innocent looking 👌 Yes be the one who loves and cares, what is the point of life if we don’t care

Love that embroidery.
That embroidery is wonderful. The sort of thing I'd love on a blanket!
The needlepoint one is so pretty!!! And matching snips too. I have the feeling Tundra Bunny may jump over this post.
I might like an email safe Bunny Hideaway!
The fighting hares are great shots. Have you ever heard them fighting? It's not a nice sound.
I love that last one the best.
Looking for rabbits at the beginning of February? Not in Ohio, nor, I presume in Canada. Plenty, however, are expected later.

No bunnies yet. In a few weeks they'll be around eating my plants m

I see them all the time riding my bike into work.

I have entered that stage of life where nobody fucking cares so why not be a freak?
Hi again, I have obviously been away too long. By the way, I have never seen a rabbit of any color in Taiwan.. --Jim

🐇🐰 In theory, I want a warm and cuddly bunny tunnel to crawl into. In reality...😵💫😳 🤢...I think not. Even the cutest creatures gotta poop! 💩😘
Doesn't everyone talk to animals?

There are some awesome photos on this post.
Our dog is looking for some bunnies to chase. She's getting tired of chasing squirrels.
Safe from emails? Lol, exactly.
I haven't seen any hare here.

I can still recite the rabbit stories from Watership Down.
