LOL!!!! I suppose you'd be Queen by now surely, but I guess HRH won't approve this yet? That cake sounds sinful!

I do imagine it never would have happened had HRH not given the royal decree.
Happy Princess!

Hello Debra, You've definitely got the Princess-y vibe, although perhaps missing enough pink if you want to evoke the Disney princesses. I used to give Princess birthday parties for the young daughter of friends here, and everything was pink and sparkly. One year I gave an all-pink party, and every one of the presents was pink. Since princesses like to be teased, I told her the only pink item I left in the store was a pink toilet brush (they actually had one!), and that was going to be her present for next year, because she already had everything else that was pink.

You look marvelous! Neither wrinkle nor wattle. Those are evidence of the love you've given, the love you've received, and your ability to find humor in any situation. Keep on sharing the love and laughter, you beautiful princess!

This post put a big smile on my face, Debra! You look great ~ authentic, a princess for sure! That cake looks so delicious. Your description of it made my mouth water. I'm settling for coffee and two fig bars this morning. I'm glad you had a fun royal party!

Hi again, Well, now I suppose I will have to confess. Her birthday came at the same time as Halloween, so the parties were sort of combination celebrations. I would tell her that since the Pink Princesses were so scary, they were for Halloween, but since the ghosts and skulls were so cute and pretty, they were to celebrate her birthday. But she completely ignored me--you know how children can be these days! --Jim

Princess says a princess party requires treats, new toys, her good friend Fritz, someone to throw a ball so she can catch it, a pool to play in, and more treats --followed by a nap.

Love,
