Now that Spring is officially here,
can bees be far behind?
What the hell are THESE kind of bees?
Here's a beautiful arty bee.
Wise advice -- heed it!
Same-sex bee love,
if I'm not mistaken.
And always remember
to keep the bees informed.
They love to know ALL the gossip!

I've heard about the telling bees about significant life changes especially death.
...I'll try tp keep, you bee well.
LOVE IT!!!! The bee keeper sign!!!!
I actually just saw a whole special, Nature I think it was... on PBS about bees, where scientist put bees in different situations in glass box set ups and every time the bees figured out a way to move something or figure out a solution to the issue, proving that bees are more intelligent than humans thought The show also showcases over 60 species of bees, highlighting their behaviors, interactions, and the unique personalities of these insects. Viewers can witness fascinating moments, such as bees laying eggs, territorial disputes, and the intricate building of nests. It was an excellent special.
@ Mistress Maddie -- You watch quality TV!
Bees, I love them. Remember when we used to say "mind your own beeswax"?
@ Kay G. -- Yes, I do remember when we used to say that! What an odd saying, eh?
When my grandfather died, my grandmother insisted that my father go inform the bees. He thought it was silly, and had me sit it the truck and wait, he even turned the radio up loud.
@ Travel -- As the Good Doctor says, "A TESTIMONY!" That's so funny, but your father still did it, didn't he! Your grandparents ran a honey farm, didn't they -- your grandma didn't want to alienate the source of family income. Smart woman.
Yes, I do love bees, because I love honey in my morning coffee especially. Today I glanced at the Raw Honey label from Walmart (here in NC) and noticed the honey was actually from Uruguay!
Love them all, but especially the blue & white bee ~ bee-utiful!!

I loved the bee-jeweled bee!
Telling the bees has always seemed wise to me, acknowledging the bond, and their intelligence and perception. Seems only courteous.
I love bees. My new pottery stamp is a bee, makes me very happy.
OMG
Now I need to have bees in the backyard to run and tell them the details of my life!
I also just claimed a square in the manfriend's backyard where I'm planning on planting only bee-friendly plants.
XOXO
I'm deathly allergic to bee stings, yet I rescue the little guys when I find them in the pool.
@ whkattk -- Very selfless of you, I must say!
Fabulous post. I'm waiting for March 31 to watch, Secrets of the Bees on National Geographic. at 8/7 central time. It looks like a very good documentary. Have a great day today.
I always leave my lawn uncut in early spring so the dandelions can attract the bees
Bee happy, Spring is here.
the Ol'Buzzard
Your spirit animal! These are absolute charmers (I know you see what I did there...). And, funny to boot. I live in the city and there are no hives around but I could certainly tell the bees my beeswax as they visit the flowers in my yard.
I'll have to talk to the bees out on the deck this summer as they come in for drinks of water.
Love the beekeeper sign :) It's imperative that we save the bees!
I've seen some bees flying around this week, but of course none of them were as cute as yours.

All good. Love the one with the backlit sun. That's a shot I'd love to take.
Dear Debra, I love ❤️ bees 🐝 It's the wasps and hornets that I don't like.
Love the illustrations, dear friend. Please bee 🐝 well.
I try not to run from bees and I go out of my way to pick them up if I see them walking on the ground (I put them in the nearest flower).
Google bumblebee jasper sometime -- I'm sure you'll like it! I also watched a recent British show that featured an artisan who weaves grass bee skeps using almost lost traditional methods -- it as fascinating too.
@ Tundra Bunny -- I've never heard of bumblebee jasper before but the photos of it on the internet are very intriguing. And yes, that program about weaving skeps sounds fascinating. I would watch it!
OMG, I love Decoy Purse. It's funny but I've been noticing the bees in my flower beds since the pollinatory plants have started blooming. I've also noticed them landing on the rocks in the bird bath. Ah, Spring.
I am forever helping the bees to get out of our screened in patio. They come through the little hole at the bottom that one of the dogs made and I have to take a light weight dish towel out with me to rescue them before it gets too dark. I love that jeweled bee and the kittybees. so cute!
I'm OK with bees...as long as they keep their distance.
These are cool.
The same sex bee love - beautiful!
A great, fun and important post. I hope for bees here - last year I only saw two...
I'm also interested in "spelling" bee.

Thanks for the warning. None of this imagery gave me a panic attack.
I had to go out early yesterday and never got back to blogging. But I couldn't miss this post about the bees. I need to check mine this today. And I better have some good gossip for them too. :)
